Amity

The decade dance was today. I wasn't allowed to go, but Paige told Caroline she would help set up. Paige whined about me not being able to go and I just chuckled, "Come on Paige, you don't want to be late. Caroline will be pissed." She nodded and kissed Joye's cheek before she headed out. I looked down at the little girl and shook my head, "Auntie Care is gonna be mad at Auntie Paige for being late. Yes, she is." I rubbed my nose on hers as she babbled and giggled.

Paige had come home Saturday morning after spending the night with Elijah and found Klaus and I in bed. She screeched when she saw our lack of clothes and kicked him out of my bed to take care of the baby she had woken up. I whined as she dove into bed with me, to get all the details. My blush came back thinking of it. I shook it out of my head as I got up to go put Joye down for a nap.

Paige

When I got to the school I headed to the gym. I was surprised that there was no Caroline in sight. She found Bonnie and smiled as she hugged her, "Hey! How's it going? Where is Care?" She groaned as she hugged her back, "She asked me to take her place so she could take care of Tyler, hasn't been a good day today. I just got off the phone with Elena, I guess my dad put vervain in the water supply."

My eyes widened, "Great, well at least it won't affect me. How'd you find out?" She went back to filling up balloons as she looked at her, "Elena was doing dishes and the water hurt her." I nodded, "That'll do it. Well, at least we know townspeople won't be easily compelled, especially if Kol is being over the top." She nodded and asked if I'd fill the rest while she went to call her father. I nod and take over, filling balloons was surprisingly, kind of fun.

I kept an ear out while Bonnie was gone, thinking about how off the rails Kol was; Who knew what he could do? My suspicions were correct when I heard yelling. I ran out into the hall to see Kol pressing Bonnie up against some lockers. I growled and ran over, gripping his arm that was wrapped around her neck. Bonnie used her powers to cause him pain. It gave me a chance to pull him off and tell her to run. When I didn't hear receding steps I looked back as balloons started to pop, "Bonnie!" I slammed the screaming Kol into the lockers across the hall. But soon I also felt pain, "Bonnie! Control!!" The pain quickly stopped and I heard footsteps running.

I punched Kol and slammed him against the lockers again, "You're lucky you're involved with Elijah, or else you would be dead!" He looked at me with rage. "Leave Bonnie alone Kol." I let him go as he took off. When he was gone I followed Bonnie in the direction she went, calling Elena.

"Paige? Is everything okay?" I panted as I ran out to look for Bonnie's car, "No, Kol just attacked Bonnie. I'm going to find her now, I held him back while she ran." She gasped and I spotted Bonnie's car, "How did you survive?" I chuckled, "Perks of dating his brother. I'm gonna make sure Bonnie gets home, I'll let you know how she is." I hung up and got into the car with her. "Are you okay?"

Bonnie's grip on the wheel was white, "No, what the hell just happened?" I bit my lip, "Kol's lost his mind is what happened. Come on, let's get you home, he won't touch you while I'm here. I'll make sure of it." She sighed shakily and nodded as she started the car and headed towards her house.

Amity

Paige came home in a huff, telling me what had happened at the school. My eyes widened and I jumped up, "Are you okay?? Is Bonnie okay?" She nodded and pinched the bridge of her nose, "I'm okay, Bonnie lost control of her power a bit, I've got a wicked headache. I'm going to go lie down. You should go check in on Elena. Make sure that everyone is good over there." She shuffled upstairs to lie down. I frowned and got a bag for Joye together. I strapped her onto my chest, grabbing her swing so I could get her settled in once I was there.
