Paige

I got dressed for the party and headed out; my phone rang when I got there. I answered as I got a drink, "Hello?" I hummed and smiled when I heard Elijah's voice, "How've you been doing with everything?" I chugged my drink. Getting another, "You mean after my mom dying? Oh, I'm fine. Currently drinking away my problems at a party your sister is throwing."

"That won't solve your problems, Paige, you know that." I growl as I walk through the party, "You think I don't know that? You aren't here, you can't tell me how to solve my problems. You didn't even say goodbye. I'm going to enjoy myself." I hung up on him and went to find something stronger.

I found Rebekah and smiled, "Thank god I found you. Please tell me you have something stronger than beer?" She raised a brow, "What happened?" I held up my phone, "Your brother thinks he can tell me what to do after leaving town and not telling me he was leaving or when he'd be back. So I need a drink." She smirked and was back in a few seconds with a bottle, "Bless you, Rebekah."

I smiled and took a few swigs before going to go dance. I was mad, madder than I should have been. Elijah wasn't my boyfriend, we hadn't said what we were. He keeps leaving though, leaving me here and not telling me. I danced with a boy from my Physics class and let him grind on me. I took another swig of the bottle before I felt him gone. I looked over at Stefan and grumbled, "What?"

He raised a brow at me, "Jared from physics? Really? What about Elijah?" I laughed and shook my head, "Well Stefan, I don't know what Elijah and I are. We didn't define it before he left town and didn't tell me." He looked at me and squinted, "Tomorrow is the full moon."

"I know. We have it under control." He crosses his arms, "Is Tyler gonna help you?" I shook my head, "Since Tyler never answered his phone about it, no. Klaus is gonna make sure we're tied up and taken care of." He nodded and I snuck around him and went to the kitchen. I saw Elena in the corner and the disposal going. I turned it off, "Elena? What's going on?"

"Rebekah. She put my daylight ring in there." I reached down and grabbed it, "So she did." I tossed it to her and she put it on her finger before thanking me and grabbing her bag, pulling out the white oak stake, "Are you crazy??"

Stefan was behind her when she turned to leave the room, "Oof, busted." I laughed when she glared at me and I went off to a different room. I found another dance partner but that one was gone sooner than I wanted him to be, this time when I turned it wasn't Stefan, "Elijah."

He pulled me to him and we started to dance so people wouldn't start to stare, "Your words hurt. I thought we were doing well." I leaned against him, "Full moon is tomorrow. Everything is extra heightened. I need to know what we are." He took a deep breath before he was kissing me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and tangled my fingers in his hair. He gripped my hips and pulled me closer.

He picked me up and I could feel us move. My back was pressed against a wall as a door closed and I kissed him more. He pulled at my shirt as I pushed off his suit jacket, he kissed at my chest and I gasped, arching towards him. I ripped his shirt open, buttons hitting the wood. My back hit the bed and I scratched at his back as he kissed me again and I wrapped my legs around him. I groaned when he ripped my bra open, "That was expensive." He chuckled as his hands touched my body, "I'll buy you a new one."

I laid panting on the bed when we had finished. I slowly rolled and snuggled into his chest, chuckling softly, "How do you feel?" I hummed and stretched, wincing softly, "Just a little sore, but so relaxed." He kissed my forehead and pulled me close, "Does this define our relationship? I only want you, Paige. I do not give myself to just any woman." I sit on top of him and look down at him, I look over his face and run my fingers over his chest, "I only want you too... I just want communication, Elijah, no more leaving town without telling me, or not saying goodbye."

He sat up and wrapped his arms around me, I stroked his cheek and kissed him again before I laid my forehead against his, "I'll be better about telling you what I'm doing." I thank him and play with his hair. I look at the door when there was a knock, and Rebekah came in, "Alright, now that you two have defiled one of my house's beds, the party's over." Elijah made sure all my bits were covered, "Rebekah. We will be out in just a moment, a little privacy?" She rolled her eyes but shut the door.

I laughed as I got up and stretched, I got dressed and picked up my broken bra, "I'm keeping you to your word, I get a new one." He chuckled and nodded as he got dressed, draping his button-up over his arm, "I need to get a new shirt, you ripped the buttons." I leaned up and kissed him as we went downstairs while Rebekah cleaned up, "It was a great party Bekah, I'll see you in history?"

She pursed her lips before nodding with a smile, "See you in history. Bye Elijah." Elijah waved before he took me home. He walked me to the door and I looked up at him, "Would you like to come in?" He nodded and we went in, Amity and Spencer were sitting on the couch watching tv. Ames looked up with a smirk, "There she is. Hi Elijah." I pulled him towards the stairs, "I better hear everything! You smell like sex!" I blushed and cursed her as we went up.

Amity

I laughed as they went up the stairs and I looked at Spencer as he covered his ears, "Lalala I didn't just hear that." I snorted and leaned back as I yawned. When I had gotten home I laid Joye down and taken a nap myself. She hadn't woken up once since I laid her down, seems like Klaus's compulsion had worked. I smiled when I heard her start to fuss, I looked at Spencer, "She's finally awake."

He nodded as I got up and went upstairs. I went into her nursery and gently picked her up, I smiled down at her, "Hi princess. Did you sleep well?" I kissed her nose and sat in the rocking chair as I let her eat. I watched her and leaned back, I yawned and started to drift when she was finished. I shook my head to wake myself up and started to burp her. When she burped I stood up and walked around the room with her. She cooed some and I smiled, "Daddy made things all better didn't he?"

I held her close and paused when I took a breath and smelled Klaus, "How long have you been standing there?" I turned towards him, "Long enough..." I blushed hard as he walked towards us, hands behind his back, "No need to be embarrassed. I believe I did say I would look after her as my own, did I not?" I bit my lip, "You may have said some version of that. I would never force that on you though."

He pulled out a stuffed animal from behind his back and I started to smile bright, "Is that a wolf?" He smiled and nodded, I passed Joye to him and he waved it in front of her, "What's this? A wolf for my littlest wolf." He kissed her forehead and she wrapped her little hands around the wolf. I smiled and kissed Klaus's cheek gently, "I love you." Joye cooed as he smiled, "I love you too, little wolf."

We laid her back down for the rest of the night and the wolf was laid right next to her. Klaus and I sat at the kitchen counter with some tea, "Thank you, for today. This is the first time she's slept so soundly since what happened." He took my hand and shook his head, "No need to thank me, love, she shouldn't have to experience fear so young."

I nodded, squeezing his hand, "I hate that she did, what kind of mother am I? To be apart of something that would cause my baby such distress?" He reached up and gripped my chin, "You are a wonderful mother. Don't you ever doubt that, it is not your fault that Alaric called your father." I sighed and nodded, looking at him, "I just want to be good for her."

He stroked my cheek, pulling me into his lap, "You are doing your best with her. I think you are doing a fantastic job with her. She will adore you as she grows up." I blush and kiss him gently, wrapping my arms around his neck, "And I think you will be great with her, and she will look up to you." He looked at me and rubbed my hip, thinking.

"You think she would?" I played with his hair some and nodded, "I think she'd be a total daddy's girl. You just have to be there for her." He kissed me and pulled me closer by my hips. I smiled softly and kissed him back. He pulled back and looked over my face.
