Amity

Elena wanted to sit and talk more as she hooked arms with me as we walked up to the door, "You sure that's a good idea, Elena? She's been sleeping with Klaus." Damon glared at me and I shook my head, "Not sleeping... I-I can't do that..." Elena rubbed my back and looked at me, "Oh my god... Before Joye you were a virgin weren't you?" I squeezed her hand tight and hung my head.

Stefan led us up to the door, "Nice going, Damon. Feel like a dick yet?" He didn't come up on the porch, "Oh, now I'm the bad guy? We can't trust her!" I took a few deep breaths before I turned and ran down to him and slapped him, "I hate you!! You can't trust me?! How about I can't trust you!! Does Elena know you broke into my house and tried to kill me? Elena, you know that dent in Joye's nursery wall? It's from Damon slamming me against it and giving me a concussion!!"

Damon growled and pushed me against the wall of the house. His fangs were out and veins were under his eyes. I could feel fear building in me but I stood my ground, "I've met bigger monsters than you, Damon. I'm not scared of you." Stefan ripped him off of me and Elena pulled me close and brought me inside. I took a deep breath and looked at her, "I should go home... Everyone knows, they'll hate me just like Damon. You should have seen how Caroline looked at me when Alaric outed me..."

She shook her head, "We'll get through this just like everything else." We went into the kitchen and she smiled seeing all of our friends, "What are you guys doing here?" Caroline held up some liquor and grinned, laughing, "Welcome to our victory party!" Paige came over with Joye and gave her to me as I kissed her forehead and held her close.

"What victory? We failed, Alaric is still out there." She went over and Bonnie helped make drinks, "We know. But we've been trying to get rid of Klaus forever. Caroline convinced us to enjoy it for one night." Matt wrapped his arms around Jeremy and Tyler's shoulder, "Gonna be honest, I'm a little pissed that none of you let me help take down original brother number two."

Everyone laughed and told Matt he would have been taken to the hospital. Caroline brought Elena a shot and Tyler came over with the salt. I handed Joye to Paige and went towards the door when Caroline hooked her arm in mine and pulled me back, "Where do you think you're going?" I looked up at her and took a deep breath, "You don't have to pretend Caroline... I'm sure you hate me too..."

She handed me a shot, "Actually, I heard everything that happened outside... I kinda wanna hear how this all happened. Damon actually slept with Rebekah. At least twice so he can't talk. Now come celebrate." She pulled me back and I leaned into her as we all raised our shots and cheered, "Wait, hang on. Do you guys hear that?"

We all stopped and listened, I looked at Tyler, "That's the sound of a Klaus free life." We laughed, mine was forced and my heart ached but I know what he had done to them, Elena raised her glass again, "To a Klaus free life, and to all of you. My family." We cheersed and took our shots.

The boys were the first ones to leave. Paige and I sat with the girls and I told them about what had happened with Klaus. The late nights to our days out. Caroline squeezed my hand, "I hate to say it. But he's your epic love... God! Now I have to ship it!" I laughed through my tears. It was hard coming clean, "I know you all must hate me for it. But when you've gone your entire life with no one being interested in you, and then being a teen mom by force, and the things I've gone through... he's never forced me to do anything I didn't want to. He's letting me go my own pace... It's nice. It's so nice having someone that isn't constantly trying to get in your pants."

They hugged me and Bonnie cupped my face. Her eyes went blank for a moment before she jerked back, "Bonnie? Are you okay?" She blinked and nodded as she hugged me, "I had a vision... I haven't had a vision in a long time. It's not a coincidence that you two fell for each other. Just be careful Amity... this is just the beginning for you." I frowned at that and I looked at Joye when she started to get fussy.
