A few months after their wedding in the light of the seven, Daemon declares to Dragonstone and the realm that he and his now 16 year old bride, lady Daena are to have a second wedding, in the Valyrian tradition, the way it was done in Old Valyria.

By the time of the second wedding, Daena is already with child, expecting their first child. Daemon decrees that a dragon's egg shall be placed in the cradle of the babe. He picks out a sky blue dragon's egg himself, from a clutch of eggs laid by Daena's dragon, the clutch of eggs most likely fathered by his own mount.

A couple days later, they travel together by dragon's back to King's Landing to visit the king and queen and the their little princess. They fly to the Dragon Pit by the Red Keep in King's Landing and order the dragon keepers to tend to their mounts.

Daemon gently wraps an arm around Daena's waist and they walk in to the castle. As they arrive they are greeted and welcomed by the king, Daemon's brother Viserys and his queen Aemma.
"Your grace, may I present my wife, princess Daena Targaryen, born Stark", Daemon says.
"Brother, welcome to King's Landing", king Viserys says happily. "And you are also much welcome, princess Daena."
"Thank you, your grace", Daena says.
"I see you have taken a wife finally, but I see no child, that was the other thing I told you to do", king Viserys tells his brother.
"My lady wife is with child, the maester says that the child will be born in about seven moons", Daemon says, placing a gentle hand on her stomach. "We picked out a dragon's egg for the baby's cradle a few days ago."
"I noticed you both came here on dragon's back", king Viserys says. "Your Caraxes and another beast flying beside him."
"Daena claimed a dragon of her own when she had ridden with me on Caraxes a couple times, her dragon is a she dragon called Winter and she is the mate of my Caraxes", Daemon says proudly.
"Did you wed your bride in the light of the seven or in the Valyrian tradition of our house?" Viserys asks.
"Both, actually, I took her to bride in the light of the seven at Winterfell, that was our first wedding, then I took her again in the tradition of our house when I learned she was pregnant with my child", Daemon says.
"Good, good, and I trust a dragon's egg has been placed in the cradle of your child already", Viserys says.
"Of course, we picked an egg laid by her she dragon Winter, we believe the father of the hatchling is my Caraxes", Daemon says.
"Come, both of you, let's feast together and be glad that you have returned to us and brings us a lovely wife as well as good tidings, brother", Viserys says and the trio walk together over to the waiting queen and the waiting dinner.
