Three days later, Daemon and Daena sit with their household, they discuss the possibility of marrying the twins to each other when they are of age.
"It is tradition of house Targaryen to marry brother to sister, so having them marry each other would be suitable", Daemon says. "I broke the pattern by marrying outside of the family though."
"Because your brother, the king, decided that you were going to marry me, a Stark", Daena says.
"I wanted Dragonstone for myself, and my brother's demands were that I would marry you and produce an heir, so I agreed to marry you and then we started producing heirs", Daemon says.
"So you both got what you wanted", Daena says.
"Well, I wanted you as well as Dragonstone, and I got both", Daemon says.
"So you wanted a lord's 15 year old daughter when you yourself were 21 and could have had any woman in the Seven Kingdoms", Daena says.
"Yes, I did, I had already been presented to so many young ladies in the Seven Kingdoms, pretty much all available virgin girls the Seven Kingdoms had to offer me, and the king basically told me to pick one, and I ended up picking you, because in my opinion, you were the most suitable, young, but not too young, so many girls presented to me were younger than you, many of them were only 8-9 years old", Daemon says.
"At what age do you think it's appropriate for us to let the twins to marry?" Daena asks.
"As soon as our daughter has flowered, possibly", Daemon says lightly. "Then they will be wed in the tradition of house Targaryen, like we were wed the second time we were wed."
"And if we have a second daughter?" Daena asks.
"Perhaps we could wed her to a cousin or something, or we could try for another son as well", Daemon says lightly. "But let's not think about that yet, we are young, we have the rest of our lives ahead of us and lots of time to have more children."
"You're right, let's focus on the children who were just born to us", Daena says.
"There was a raven for you, my prince", the maester tells Daemon.
"A raven? For me? From where?" Daemon asks.
"The king, I have the letter here", the maester at Dragonstone says, pulling out the rolled up letter, still held shut by the king's seal.

Daemon breaks the seal and reads the letter out loud so that Daena sitting beside him with the twins, can hear what the king writes to them.
"Dear brother, hope this letter finds you well, the glad tidings of the birth of your son and daughter gladdens my heart, I hope to see you and yours in King's Landing soon/King Viserys Targaryen, first of his name, king of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and protector of the realm", Daemon reads.
"Write his grace back and tell him that we will gladly come to King's Landing soon", Daena says.

Daemon and Daena smile at each other, the silent conversation between the two dragon riders meaning that they should take their twins flying with them on their dragons.
"Dress the children", Daena tells the servants and waits as they dress the children.
"Yes, lady Daena", the servants say, dressing the twins.
"And bring out the straps so that we can bring the children with us out flying", Daena says.
"Would that be wise, lady Daena?" the servants asks concerned.
"They will be dragon riders when their hatchlings are large enough", Daemon says lightly. "So what better way to get them used to being around dragons than to have them flying with us?"

Daemon straps on a harness and puts his baby son in it, making sure he sits tightly and waits while Daena puts another harness on and puts their baby daughter in it, they walk out to their dragons and straddle them, strapping themselves into the saddles and take flight together.

They fly to the ruins of Old Valyria to explore its surroundings. They find a bunch of old artifacts and something that from the distance looks like large oval rocks.

Daemon has Caraxes land softly on the ground and dismounts with his son strapped to his chest and walks over to the oval rocks.
"Is that what I think it is?" Daena asks, watching Daemon bend forward.
"Dragon eggs, yes, looks like they are petrified, but I'll put them in the bag I brought with me, perhaps they can be incubated at Dragonstone", Daemon says.

Daemon picks up the dragon's eggs and puts them in one of the bags he brought and ties it tightly to the saddle and fills the other bag with some of the artifacts they find, Daena hands Daemon another bag and waits by the dragons while he picks up a couple artifacts.

When he's done searching, he hands the bag back to Daena and watches as she ties it tightly to the saddle. He gets back in the saddle and straps himself in before giving Caraxes to the command to fly. Daena gives the same command to Winter and the two dragons take flight and fly back to Dragonstone with their riders, the dragon twins, the two dragon riders' children, Valyrian artifacts and dragon eggs.

Daemon sends the dragon eggs to be incubated and sends the artifacts to be looked over and placed around the castle.
