FUUUCCKK I named the last chapter wrong
This one is a fate worse than death
The last one was Dodging Temari12) The fate worse than death
"We need a plan of attack!" He finally managed to get out, dodging the arrows. He looked over to where Yushiro used to stand, but he couldn't find him. "Seriously?!" He yelled, jumping out of the way. Well more like getting thrown.
"It's called invisibility, learn something will you?!" Yushiro yelled, pulling him out of the demons sight. "Come on out, before I make you."
"Listen, I'll distract him while you behead him. Got it?" He told Seiko, who simply nodded, letting Yushiro run out from behind the tree.
Seiko watched as Yushiro kicked the other demons chest in. Seiko heard a commotion from where they left Tanjiro, Tamayo, and that other demon. Three balls suddenly flew in Yushiro's direction. They flew every which way around him. He looked at one that was close to the ground, before it swerved and destroyed his head.
"I might not be able to see you, but I can still hear yo—" Seiko jumped out and brought the metal of his blade to the demons neck. He looked at the red arrow coming towards his katana. It would snap if he didn't move it.
He lifted his blade up and instead kicked the demons stomach as hard as he could, launching it toward the basically destroyed house. "Yushiro, I'm going to go after him, will you be okay regenerating here?" The boys head was already halfway restored, so he would be back in battle soon.
"Yeah." Seiko nodded, before running after the demon. He ran past a wall that was basically gone, peering inside a bit. He hoped the blood he stared at belonged to Tamayo or Yushiro.
He heard yet another crashing noise, and turned the corner to see Tanjiro had been thrown into a wall. He rushed forward, getting propelled into the air by an arrow. He hit the ground rather hard, leaving a small crater in the ground.
He looked over to see Tanjiro getting out of the wall. He didn't really have to energy to sit up, so he just left the demon to the red head.
The demon sent an arrow towards Tamayo, but Tanjiro took it instead, getting thrown into the ground. He stood up a bit. "Both of you, cover your mouths and don't inhale it." She whispered, somehow catching the ears of the two. Tanjiro looked up at her with confusion, but complied. Seiko nodded and held his breath.
"You, do you know what your master really is? He's a coward." She told the demon. "What are you talking about?! How dare you insult him like that!" He looked angry, but she kept her stance.
"Can't you see it? He's hiding from something. He most likely fears demons will group together with the hopes to defeat him." She answered, her eyes stayed calm yet her fangs penetrated the flesh on her lips, causing them to bleed.
"How dare you! Master Kibutsuji has no reason to fear—!" He slapped a hand over his mouth. The eyes on his hands widened in fear. "No, my lord it was an accident, please! I didn't mean to!" Tears spilled from his hands. (I have no idea how to word this but I refuse to make Susamaru go through that twice)
Seiko watched in horror as a hand forced its way out of his chest, and another from his stomach. Lastly one from his mouth. It grabbed his head and crushed it completely. His body fell to the grass and blood seeped from it.
Seiko looked over to Tanjiro, who was relatively calm looking at the scene.
'He's calm with this but scared in a crowd?' (Social anxiety core !)
Seiko continued to stare at the demon body, heart pounding in his ears. "We'll be in the basement for when you come inside." Tamayo told him, referencing to Yushiro who was carrying a passed out Tanjiro.
Seiko nodded, looking at the demon body almost three yards away from him. He heard the creak of the footsteps inside. They got quieter until it was basically muted.
He sat up in the dirt and grass and looked over to the house. He stood and walked through the massive hold in the wall, made by Tanjiro himself for the small price of a broken leg and a bleeding neck.
At this point your guys know I have no sense of humor let's be real here, ANYWAYS
He looked around the room, but couldn't see it. He can't try the stairs, because they're.... Let's say they're dismantled at the moment. "Hello?" His voice echoed through the room.
"Over here!" Yushiro answered back. Seiko looked behind a mountain of what used to be most of the roof. At least they have a sky light now.
He slowly walked down the stairs, careful not to strain his leg. He looked into the brightly lit room and instantly spied Tanjiro asleep on a table. He looked over to Tamayo and Yushiro. "Thank you both for your help. I feel horrible that you got so injured." She glanced down at Tanjiro, who was most likely still bleeding.
"I'm sorry about your house." Seiko bowed to the woman, Yushiro looked a little angry but we don't talk about that. He turned his head away and scoffed. Tamayo gave him a looked before turning her attention back to the dark haired boy.
"Don't apologize. There was little you could do to change the outcome. And we need to leave anyway, now that Muzan knows our location."
Skipping all that cause I'm a lazy motherfucker (literally)
After the two, mainlu Seiko, had thanked Tamayo and Yushiro for patching them up because they're incompetent, they left for their next mission because they don't get breaks.
They walked down a dirt path, hearing a very annoying, whiny, and high pitched voice in the distance.
"Please? Please, please, please! Marry me! I don't know when I'll die, so I want you to marry me! Please?!" A boy was kneeling on the path in front of a young girl, clinging to her desperately.
"God, is he wearing the same uniform as us? I think he was at final selection. Can you believe him, Tanjiro?" Seiko looked to his side to see nobody there. Seiko deadpanned, a bead of sweat rolling down the side of his face. His voice was flat as he spoke. "Tanjiro?"
