Didn't update for seventeen days lmfao
Hope you enjoy 🐺🎀45) Defeated
"I mean you already look like one!" He yelled out, pulling Tanjiro up by his hair. Tanjiro was livid. This thing wanted to turn him into a demon? He'd rather have been finished off by Nezuko, a far better far in comparison to what this man yapped about.
And he looks like one? His appearance is more comparable to the sick or a ghost, not a demon. "And you look like a grease fire could start from your hair."
That's probably what got him here now. So close to decapitating Gyutaro, but his blade refusing to push further down. The demon woman was scowling, grabbing at the boys leg. Tanjiro kicked his hand away.
"Big brother!" Daki yelled from the rooftop. She was about to send her own obi to deal with Tanjiro, when Zenitsu appeared from fucking nowhere and distracted her.
"Big brother," a girl spoke in a soft voice. "Why do you push yourself so hard?" He recognized her. Hanako, his youngest sister, far too intelligent for such a young age.
He was suddenly back in the snowy forest, wearing his old clothes, with shorter hair. "It's always what you've done. But most of us were worried for you." She continued, walking up to the silent boy.
"You worked so hard after father passed." Her voice was gentle as she spoke, making not to upset him or make him cry. His eyes were only a bit watery, but who's to say that won't change?
"Yet even then you never spoke. We all knew you cared to much about us, though. It must have been heartbreaking to see big sister die after you tried getting her to town."She reached up and cupped the side of his face with her hand.
"I'm sorry, Hanako. I was so quiet. I never spoke to any of you. I'm sorry. I should have hugged you before I left. I should have let you come with me to town. I'm sorry."
"Tanjiro." A more mature and steady voice. "You don't need to apologize for something like that. Even when you were silent you were still my son. Nothing changed that, did it?" His mother pulled him into a soft hug. He sniffled. Since when did he cry so much?
"Please, don't say such things like that. Nobody could have foretold those events." His lower lip quivered as he gripped white fabric. "Don't cry, I'm here." He nodded, trying to calm himself down.
"Tanjiro, I want you to do something for me." He looked up at her. "Win."
He stared down at the demon, biting his lower lip so hard it bled. Go to your limit and don't stop until they're both gone. Such bastards shouldn't be able to parade around, killing the innocent.
"You damn stinkbugs!" Tanjiro sword began to be repelled by the blood sickles, almost making him lose his grip. He clenched his fist around his blade until his knuckles turned white.
Gyutaro jumped backwards, getting away from the redhead. Tanjiro took a deep inhale through his nose and ran after him. His eyes were dull as ever and his breathing seemed to have completely stopped.
There was a confused look on the demons face, however this seemed to be his chance to rid of this troublesome brat. He swung a blood sickle towards the boys empty eyes.
"Gyutaro!" The she demon yelled, making him turn around to see a yellow and black blade right by his neck. They were going to decapitate him! Better yet how was the Hashira still alive? Gyutaro was sure his heart had stopped.
No, that's not it. He forced his own heart to stop so the poison wouldn't circulate further. A clever tactic on his part. "Hey, maybe you really are a Shinobi!" He cackled, trying to stab the man again. Uzui dodged it effortlessly for being so injured.
"But you still won't get the better of us!" Sending out multiple slashes, the two demons slayers had to duck and jump over them, only bringing them closer to the demon. "I've finally done it!" He yelled out.

What is this fool talking about? All he's done is put himself and these brats in a life or death situation. "The musical score!"
He surged forward with a newfound energy and started deflecting my attacks in a rhythmic way. Did he turn my attacks into a song?
I closed my eyes and in merely a second he was close enough to cut me. It would be for nothing, though. With a dual blade you need two hands, they'll die because of the death trap this Hashira has led them to.
"Jump!" He screamed. Obsidian came out of nowhere with a ferocity burning in his eyes, swinging his katana down towards me. I stabbed the sickle on my right hand through his jaw, making blood dribble down the corner of his lip.
"All this effort is just a waste! You can't kill me without decapitating my sister as well! We'll both kill ya in the end!" I was confident in that.
The Blondie couldn't possible behead her and that gross boar is going to die of blood loss soon. But because I didn't pierce his heart doesn't mean what I've done in this fight is useless.
It didn't matter if they cut my head off, because the three will be killed by my poison, and Daki will finish the fourth off. We will win this fight, and present the head of this demon hunter to Lord Muzan!
"Big brother!" My eyes shot towards her, my head flying off my shoulders. I could see her body, but her head, where was her fucking head?
I bounced around on the coarse dirt, some of the dust getting my eyes.

Tanjiro was tired. He couldn't breathe, his lungs hurt, so did everything else. He sunk to his knees as he greedily took deep and labored breaths. He could hear Uzui yelled something towards him, but he could already feel himself fall towards the ground.
Did he fail to cut off his head? Was he— was he going to die? After all those promises, towards his mother, Hanako, was he going to die?
The blood blades shot out everywhere, cutting the remainders of buildings and putting deep gashes into the streets. He could smell the blood demon art, but his body refused to move on his command and he couldn't open his eyes.
He hoped his crow had gotten there in time.
