LIZZIE:

I watch as Cleo approaches my fort. I flutter my wings and run towards her.

"Hey! Stop that!" I shout at her.

"Why?" They ask, holding a flint and steel in her hand.

"Because- NO!" She lights the fairy fort on fire. I feel my chest start to burn, and I gasp for air.

They look at me, confused. "Why are you gasping?"

Fire engulfed the fort as I was left breathless. I fell to my knees, clutching my chest, which felt like it was burning.

Cleo stares at me as I lose myself. Suddenly, everything goes

black.

CLEO:

I watch as Lizzie perishes. I stand there, gaping.

I didn't even touch her.

I didn't touch her.

How?!

I look in chat and see, even though she still had three lives, she had been eliminated in one.

HOW?!

What is happening? I message Joel.

Cleo: Why did she die in one

Joel: is her fairy fort still there

Cleo: No?

Joel: that's why, her life was tied to it

I feel a wave of guilt wash over me.

What have I done?
