Throughout the night, while Andre slept, Artemis quietly left the room. She put a special lock on the door that only she and her brother could open, ensuring Andre's safety. Meanwhile, Apollo returned to cuddling Andre, who clung to him even in his sleep. Andre murmured softly, his voice laced with fear, "Please, don't let go of me."
Apollo smiled gently, his heart aching for the tormented young man. "I promise, I will never let go," he whispered, pressing a soft kiss to Andre's forehead. Andre's grip tightened slightly, as if finding comfort in Apollo's words, and he continued to sleep more peacefully.
Leaving her brother to watch over Andre, Artemis ventured out to find allies for their plan. She knew Athena, Poseidon, Demeter, and Hestia would be their best hope. Her first stop was Athena's quarters.
Athena's room was a masterpiece of wisdom and war. The walls were lined with ancient scrolls and books, and her armor gleamed from its stand in the corner. The scent of olive oil and parchment filled the air. Athena herself sat at a grand oak desk, her golden armor polished and her grey eyes sharp with intelligence. Her long, wavy brown hair cascaded down her back, and she wore a simple white chiton that contrasted with the strength in her gaze.
"Artemis," Athena greeted, looking up from her writings. "What brings you here at this hour?"
Artemis approached her, her expression earnest. "Athena, I need your help. Andre is in grave danger from Zeus, and we need to protect him."
Athena's brow furrowed. "Zeus? What has he done now?"
Artemis quickly explained the situation, detailing Andre's plight and their plan to take him to the Underworld. Athena listened intently, her eyes narrowing in thought.
"We will need a well-thought-out strategy," Athena said, her voice resolute. "But you have my support, Artemis. I'll do whatever it takes to protect Andre."
"Thank you, Athena. Your wisdom will be invaluable," Artemis replied with a grateful smile.
Next, Artemis made her way to Poseidon's quarters. Poseidon's room was a stark contrast to Athena's, filled with the scent of saltwater and the sound of waves crashing against the shore. His chambers were adorned with seashells, corals, and treasures from the deep ocean. The walls seemed to shimmer with a watery light, and a large, ornate trident hung above his bed.
Poseidon, tall and imposing with sea-green eyes and a beard that looked like it was made from the ocean's foam, was lounging on a couch made of pearly seashells. His muscular physique was accentuated by the simple tunic he wore, and his presence radiated the power of the sea.
"Artemis, to what do I owe the pleasure?" Poseidon asked, his voice a deep rumble.
"Poseidon, I need your help," Artemis said, stepping forward. "Andre is being tormented by Zeus, and we plan to take him to the Underworld for safety. Will you assist us?"
Poseidon's eyes darkened with concern. "Zeus and his temper. Of course, I'll help. Andre doesn't deserve such cruelty."
Artemis nodded, relieved. "Thank you, Poseidon. With your strength and Athena's wisdom, we stand a chance."
"We need to move quickly," Poseidon added, standing up. "The longer we wait, the greater the risk."
With Athena and Poseidon's support secured, Artemis moved on to seek the help of Hestia and Demeter. She knew their nurturing and protective instincts would make them valuable allies.
Artemis first headed to Hestia's quarters. Hestia's room was a haven of warmth and comfort. The scent of freshly baked bread and herbs filled the air. A large hearth dominated the room, its fire crackling softly, casting a cozy glow. The walls were lined with shelves holding various cooking ingredients and kitchen utensils. Hestia herself, the embodiment of the hearth and home, had a gentle, serene presence. She wore a simple, flowing gown of soft brown and orange hues, her auburn hair tied back in a loose braid. Her eyes, warm and kind, reflected the light of the hearth.
