"It's another panic attack Alexander. She needs to see a doctor. A real doctor." Natasha said while serving everyone food. Everyone except Aliza.
"You know we can't do that and you know exactly why Natasha."
"Then I'll take her. She isn't going to be okay unless she gets the medication and therapy she needs. She's young and grew up without her parents boys. Why can't you understand that?" Natasha slammed her fists on the table and stormed off to go comfort the younger girl.
"Hey I brought your dinner up to you tonight. Just don't let your brothers find out. I'll find a way to get you the medication you need." Natasha said while setting the plate on the floor beside the crying girl.
Natasha pulled the girl into the hug and headed back downstairs.
Aliza picked at her food profusely and finally ate a decent portion.
And then she made her way downstairs to ask permission to use the library.
"Please?" She begged her eldest brother for the keys.
"Two hours. That's all." He replied, roughly placing the keys in her hand.
She thanked her brother and went up to the library where she had only been a handful of times since her parents died.
She found herself looking at the same books she had read over and over. But they brought her some sort of comfort.
She moved the bookshelf and crawled into the nook she grew up in.
It was like a tent. Only it had lights and blankets and pillows and a certain bear she used to carry around since she was a baby.
Her two hours was soon up.
But she had fallen asleep in the nook. Nobody came to look for her either.
Nobody but Natasha.
She calmly walked in and tapped the girl in her shoulder, making sure she doesn't startle her.
"I made your bed if you'd like to come to your room. I'll lock up." Natasha said while helping the sleepy girl.
Aliza sleepily climbed into her bed, her childhood bear in hand.
She had fallen right asleep, in the position of a starfish and when Natasha came to check on her she let out a muffled laugh and snapped a photo.
Natasha turned off the bedside lamp and left the young girls room, leaving the door cracked.
In the morning Aliza never had an appetite. She usually just hit the private gym downstairs.
And that's exactly what she did today.
She found herself working out more and more and eating much less than usual.
And Natasha caught on.
"Hey. Come up to the dining area." Natasha quietly said while knocking on the doorframe.
"I'll be there in a moment." Aliza politely answered, moving her headphones to her neck.
She paused her music and wiped her face with the wet cloth and made her way to the dining area.
"Yogurt, granola, bananas, strawberries and mango." Natasha said while shoving the bowl infront of the girl.
"You know I don't eat in the mornings..." Aliza huffed.
"I do know that. But you need something in your stomach today. Your brothers have something to tell you when they arrive." She said.
Aliza knew whatever it was she'd have to be dressed casually and have lots of energy because her brothers are not the easy type.
Aliza decided not to fight the elder woman and take a few bites of the breakfast she had prepared for her.
But it wasn't long before her brothers had arrived.
"We're going out to Staten Island for a run. You're coming along." Alexander, the eldest had explained.
"You know I hate riding on the back of the motorcycle." Aliza complained.
"You'll ride on mine. Elijah will meet us here soon." He said lowly while loading his gun.
"Time?" Aliza asked while shoving her bowl into the sink.
"6 o'clock sharp. If you aren't down here by then don't bother coming at all."
She sharply inhaled and went up to the bathroom for a cool shower and as soon as she dressed herself in baggy, black cargo pants and a white cropped shirt she ran down the stairs, all ready for the run.
"Not those shoes. Go put on your combat boots. And why are you wearing makeup?" Her eldest brother asked while grabbing his key.
She ignored the question and changed her shoes and grabbed her helmet from the garage.
"When am I gonna get a gun?" Aliza asked while getting on the back of the motorcycle.
"When you're 21. You're still a kid." He responded.
She felt the rumble of the bike as it started and began slowly traveling down the driveway until finally he picked up speed.
The wind blew through whatever hair she didn't tuck into the helmet.
"Hold on tighter kid." He shouted.
She tightened her grip on his waist and rested her head on his back, ensuring that she felt safe and comfortable with her brother.
Finally they arrived to Staten Island. The sun was going down already and raindrops began falling.
"Wait here. Don't move. If something happens take the bike and wait for me at the corner. Elijah will follow me." He said while tossing the key to her.
She politely nodded and sat on the curb, just waiting. Until a woman approached her with her gun drawn to her head.
"Walk away from the bike." She lowly bellowed.
Aliza stood up, her body not wanting to move.
Her legs shook as she tried to make a run for it.
She also had dropped the keys and then bullets started flying.
She was too far from the motorcycle to take it to the corner so she ran into the alley, leaving the helmet on the curb.
She heard the motorcycle take off, and Elijah's right after and she just sat there, crying as the smell of gun powder filled her senses.
Aliza cried into her hands until someone picked her up and walked out the alley.
The man had a mask on and we was extremely tall. Taller than Alexander.
"Here she is Eilish." He spoke while setting the girl down.
The woman looked at her, removing her mask.
"It's a blessing that your pretty ass didn't get hurt." She said while grabbing the girls hand and guiding her to a black Mercedes.
She picked up the girl and placed her in the backseat.
Aliza didn't speak at all.
She wanted to go home to her brothers and Natasha.
"Your brothers left you. It's a shame that they brought you along. You could get hurt Minnie." She calmly spoke.
"Who are you?..." Aliza asked through tears.
"The rival. Your brothers overstepped. But I'll get you back to them in the morning."
That's the only conversation they had on the way to wherever she was taking her.
They arrived to a large house, a mansion even.
Whatever it was. It was huge. And beautiful.
Once Aliza got inside she had fallen asleep in the woman's bed, with her permission of course.
But her makeup was smudged.
Smudged from crying. Smudged from the rain.
The black haired woman took the decency to wipe off the girls makeup and take her shoes off so she could sleep comfortably.
But in the morning all hell broke loose.
