Aliza pushed past the crowd in search for the older woman. She shouted her name but she didn't come running.
"Billie? Bil?" She called out weakly, her voice cracking.
"Minnie? What's going on. I'm right here." Billie grab onto Aliza making her jump and turn to hug her tightly
"Nothing happened. I started panicking. I don't like this. How come I can't follow you around?" The young girls heart was racing and her hands were shaking.
"We're about to leave Minnie. Cmon."
Aliza grabbed onto Billie's pinky and ring finger and followed her around to say her goodbyes to everyone at the party.
"You're alright Aliza. Calm down." Billie said while walking outside.
   "I'm sorry."
"Why are you apologizing Minnie?" Billie unlocked the car and opened the door for Aliza who quickly climbed in.
Billie got in and asked the same question.
"Because I'm always anxious. I'm sure it is annoying and I'm positive you really are tired of babysitting." Aliza rested her head on the passenger door and exhaled deeply.
"Don't say such things Aliza. I was upset at the time, I didn't mean it." Billie sucked in a frustrated breath and reached for Aliza's hand.
"I said I was sorry." Billie sincerely spoke, her voice low and full of emotion.
"I forgive you." Aliza tightened the grip on Billie's hand and sat up straight.
"Good. Now, since we left the party so early... what are we going to do?" Billie asked while pulling the car over in the side of the road.
Aliza only shrugged which made Billie groan.
"Cmon. Choose something. Before the sun goes down." Billie impatiently said while checking the time as it was almost 8pm.
"I don't know..." Aliza quietly said, which made Billie start the car.
They drove in complete silence until finally the car came to a complete stop.
"You couldn't choose so we're gonna have a movie night. Go in and shower, get changed and meet me downstairs." Billie said while getting out and opening the door for Aliza.
Aliza waited for Billie to unlock the entrance before she made a run for the bathroom.
She took a hot shower, meanwhile Billie was preparing a variety of snacks for said movie night until she had to shower. She made sure to instruct Aliza not to go downstairs just yet while she was showering.
And then Billie got out and changed.
They both walked downstairs and got comfy on the couch and that is where they watched multiple movies together until way after midnight.
Aliza was finding it hard to keep her eyes open so Billie carefully helped her upstairs although she had to carry her up the last few steps due to her stumbling.
"Get your rest okay? I'm gonna be in my office." Billie said but Aliza whined a little.
"Can you read to me?" She asked with a small voice.
Billie looked at the time and sucked in a breath.
"Just a few pages. Ezekiel is expecting a call soon." Billie responded while sitting down on the bed.
Aliza positioned herself so her body was between Billie's legs and her head was on her stomach.
Usually Billie wouldn't read to Aliza as she absolutely despised books about this nonsense, but she enjoyed the silence other than her soft speaking and Aliza's shallow breathing as she was in the brink of falling asleep.
"Thank you Billie." Aliza said, her voice hoarse and raspy. Aliza had gotten off of Billie and sat up on her own side of the bed.
"You're welcome Minnie. Cmere." Billie said while sitting straight up. Aliza sat directly infront and Billie and just stared into her eyes.
"Happy birthday." Billie whispered while brining her in for a soft kiss.
Aliza's heart dropped into her stomach right before she kissed back.
Billie lips were so soft, and the baby pink color of her lips was hardly resistible.
They pulled apart and Aliza was blushing like crazy.
"I hope you have a good birthday Minnie. Now get some rest please. You need it." Billie raked her fingers through Aliza's naturally curled hair and kissed her cheek.
She watched Aliza lie down and get comfortable before she had drifted off in a peaceful slumber.
And then Billie went to the bedroom and made the call.
"Deliver it at 2:30. No later, got it?" She quietly spoke while peeking of of the office door to make sure Aliza stayed asleep and didn't wonder into the office.
"Don't open the hatch until we get out there. Bye."

Now it's morning.
Billie had made a small breakfast consisting of waffles and a strawberry mango smoothie to cure the morning hunger Aliza had been feeling lately.
And then Aliza woke up and wondered downstairs to find Billie plating the breakfast.
"What's that for?" She asked, her voice sounding sleepy as she also rubbed her eyes.
"It's breakfast. We can't go out today on an empty stomach dummy. It'll make us sick." Billie chuckled while pulling the chair out for the younger girl.
Aliza sat in the chair and they shared some small conversations over breakfast and then Billie rushed Aliza to get showered and dressed for a day out and dinner.
But once Aliza had finished it was nearly 2:30. Which meant it was time for the biggest surprise she had ever had.
"Cmon. Careful." Billie spoke while guiding the blindfolded girl outside.
   "Stay there."
Billie removed the blindfold as Ezekiel unloaded the gift from the import truck.
Billie removed the cover from Aliza's eyes and infront of her stood an old, run down 1993 Toyota Supra for her to build from scratch.
She gasped and turned to Billie who FINALLY showed some emotion and gave a bright, toothy smile.
Aliza jumped on Billie, hugging her and thanking her before running up to the car.
"I can rebuild it right? Make it a real race car?" She happily squealed once Billie agreed with her.
Now she was calm enough to thank Billie again, but in a more respectful manner.
"Thank you so much Billie... you don't know how much this means to me." Aliza sniffled and Billie grabbed her by her face and pressed her lips against Aliza's lips.
"Stop thanking me Minnie. We're heading out to dinner soon so stop crying." Billie chuckled a bit.
Aliza couldn't stop staring at the car.
Even though it was completely run down and needed a full rebuild she was eternally grateful to have it in her possession.
Billie safely got the car into the garage and they got ready to go out for Aliza's birthday dinner.
"Who's all gonna be there since you're making me dress all fancy?" Aliza asked while walking out of the bathroom in a right fitting red dress.
" you'll see when we arrive Minnie. Are you ready?" Billie asked while reaching her hand out.
Aliza gave a nod with a beaming smile as she grabbed Billie's hand and they walked out the door together.
As soon as they arrived at the restaurant Aliza was becoming nervous.
She didn't know exactly why she was nervous. She just felt like something bad was going to happen tonight.
Aliza walked into the restaurant with her hand in Billie's and saw Alexander, Elijah and Natasha sitting at the table.
And as soon as they noticed the two girls walking in the stood up and greeted them.
"Tasha." Aliza cooed while hugging her mother figure.
"Happy birthday Aliza love." Natasha said while hugging Aliza back.
And then it was Elijah. He hugged his little sister and kissed the top of her head.
   "Happy 20th Aliza."
And now Alexander...
He took a deep breath and opened his arms to his baby sister and she slowly walked into his arms.
"Happy birthday kiddo. Hope it's a good one." He quietly spoke and Billie cleared her throat.
"Let the girl sit and order. It's been a long morning." Billie said while pulling out a chair for Aliza to sit in.
During dinner there was an argument and Aliza began panicking.
Natasha had left early so Aliza found herself  in the bathroom trying not to cry on her big night.
Until someone knocked on the door and came in.
"Minnie why did you leave the table?" Billie asked while stepping into the bathroom, noticing the tears running down the younger girls face she took a gentle breath and stepped closer to Aliza.
"I'm sorry your birthday got ruined. I take full responsibility for mine and your brothers actions."
"It isn't your fault he got drunk Billie. He always gets so angry when he's drunk." Aliza sniffled and hugged Billie's waist.
Billie took a second until finally she hugged Aliza back, only whispering sweet nothings in her ear to calm her down.
"Go home and have cake?" Billie asked while pulling out of the hug.
Aliza nodded with tears still pouring down her face.
"Wipe your face." Billie said while holding open the door.
