"Where are you going!?" Alexander repeated himself as the young girl shoved clothes in her bag.
"None of your business. Leave me alone." She cried.
He did what she asked. He left the crying girl alone in her room.
That was until she tried to leave the house.
"If you go don't come back." Alexander shouted at the top of his lungs.
"I won't come back. You're supposed to be my big brother Alex. You do nothing but make me cry. You're supposed to hurt people who make me cry..." Aliza sobbed, finally building up the courage to walk out the door.
"Liza wait." Elijah called out as she ran down the street in the freezing rain.
She kept running, she ran until her legs couldn't anymore.
She jumped on a bus and went to Staten Island.
She was bring looking for anyone in particular. Aliza just didn't want to be found by anyone. But of fucking course someone had to shout her name.
"Aliza!" Billie yelled from down the road.
She walked up to the girl and quickly wrapped her leather jacket around her, shielding her from the harsh raindrops and wind.
"You're going to get sick. Want to come to my place?" Billie talked loudly over the pouring rain.
"No. I want to be alone." She sniffled.
"Then be alone at my house. You aren't safe out here alone and you know that. Where's your brothers at?"
"I don't care where they are. I hope they never find me." She pushed Billie's jacket off of herself and tried to walk away but Billie tossed her over her shoulder and walked calmly to her large house.
"Leave me alone." She cried, beating on Billie's back before she set her down.
"Do I need to call Alexander and Elijah and tell them you're here or are you going to talk to me like a decent human being?"
Billie raised her eyebrow and looked at the sopping wet girl sitting on the counter.
"Cmon. Talk to me." Billie voice calmed down and got sweeter when she was talking to the brunette.
"I don't have a life... thanks to Alex. Everyone I talk i'm love with is scared of him. And he just. He doesn't treat me like a little sister. He treats me like some random person." Aliza trailed off.
Billie cut her off by clearing her throat.
"I think you just need to rest. You'll feel better about the situation by tomorrow. I'll take you home first thing in the morning." Billie helped the girl down and placed folded clothing in her hands.
"Please, shower, change, meet me down for dinner. Got it?" Billie walked away and removed the gun from her waistband and tucking it into the drawer beside the bed.
Aliza closed the bathroom door and ran the shower.
It took her a while to clear her mind before she stepped into the shower, but once she did her whole perspective changed. She needs to find someone who isn't afraid of Alexander.
But she also needs to work on her relationship with her brothers before anything.
She climbed out of the shower and rushed to her dressed and when she came out Billie was waiting for her.
"I have company over, forgive me but I'm going to give you a different outfit to change into." Billie put on a gentle smile and held out a dress.
Aliza sucked in a frustrated breath and went back into the bathroom to change. She lazily styled her natural curls and walked out of the bathroom.
"Great. You look good. Put on these heels and cmon."
Aliza just should've went home when she had the chance to.
"Let's go." Billie held her hand out and walked down the stairs with the girl beside her.
"If your brother finds out you're with me, he'll flip. So just avoid talking about yourself and your brothers just in case." She quietly said as they found themselves in the dining area.
"Yooo who's that?" A man asked while standing up to shake the shy girls hand.
"Apart of my Family. So treat her with the same respect you treat me with. Today hasn't been her best day so be your kindest." Billie cleared her throat, ushering Aliza to sit down.
"She's hot." Jace mumbled under his breath.
Billie stood up but Aliza put her arms out infront of Billie, not allowing her to move from the very spot she was standing in.
"Billie. Not now. Please. It's fine. Sit down." Aliza calmed the older woman down and took a deep breath as she accepted her fate and sat down.
"Enjoy dinner." Billie crumpled up a napkin and tossed it into the middle of the table.
She didn't eat much. She just kept staring at jace with the cold, heartless look in her eyes.
Aliza could feel the tension, so after she ate which was very quickly, she got up and went back into Billie's room to change.
After she changed she began walking back downstairs slowly and quietly.
"Yo isn't she Brooklyn's mafia kid or some shit like that?" She heard jace say from downstairs.
And that's when she heard it. The moment before Aliza went into shock.
Billie had shot Jace in the stomach and dared him to plead for mercy.
Aliza stood there, her mouth hung open and her hands sprung to her ears to make an attempt to stop the ringing.
And then the flashbacks flooded in like a broke dam.

"Get her out of here. Now!" Elijah shouted at Natasha to drag the younger girl away.
Aliza pulled her younger self away from Natasha's grip and ran to Alexander who quickly pushed her away.
"What are you doing!! Take her away!" He yelled, much louder than Elijah.
"Mom! Dad!" Aliza cried out as Natasha drug her out of the room.
   "Are they dead? Mom!! Dad!..."

...

"I don't want to go to the funeral." Young Aliza sobbed as Natasha forced her to get dressed.
"It's just for a bit Liza. The services are a beautiful way of celebrating the life your loved ones lived."

"Go upstairs." Billie said as Aliza's ears stopped ringing.
"Go now!" Billie raised her voice which caused Aliza to jump and began running.
She started crying. Of course she did. That's one thing she hated about herself most.
    Her sensitivity.
About an hour later Billie decided to knock on the bathroom door where Aliza had been hiding.
"Leave me alone. Please." She sniffled.
"Come out. We're leaving." Billie's voice was stern and loud with a touch of deepness and anger to it.
Aliza opened the door, revealing her rosy cheeks and nose and her bloodshot eyes.
"You're okay. Stop crying." Billie said while walking away.
