A few days passed.
Billie was being so mean and it hurt Aliza.
Aliza showed the most vulnerable side of herself and Billie completely ignored everything Aliza had said.
"Billie stop yelling at me... please." Aliza sniffled, not knowing what exactly she did to set Billie off into this wrongful mood.
"Don't like it? Then go home. I'm sick of babysitting." Billie said while slamming objects around, eventually smashing a vase which brought back childhood memories."Stop! Alex stop! You're my brother... don't hurt me..." young Aliza begged as her brother held a knife to her throat.
"Please.." she whimpered in a high pitched voice.
He stormed away, knocking a vase off the table on his way outside.
Aliza rushed to clean up the glass only for it to slice deeply into her hand.
That's what started it all...
"Billie stop it! Stop!" Aliza covered her head and cried silently into her hands.
Billie walked out, leaving the glass piled up in the dining room floor.
Aliza was having a panic attack. She hadn't had one since she was at home with her brothers.
Only Natasha knew how to deal with this kind of situation.
So she called her.
But to her avail, there was no answer.
Even the next 3 calls went unanswered.
About 15 minutes after the whole ordeal Billie came back to clean up the glass, only to find that Aliza had already done it.
Billie followed the drops of blood that were on the ground to the bathroom.
The door was shut and locked and there was blood on the handle. A decent amount too.
"Aliza open the door. Open the door Aliza now!" Billie pounded on the door and finally Aliza opened it. She sat on the side of the to with blood dripping down her hand onto her thighs.
"What did I tell you? You need to stop with this shit Aliza." Billie slammed the bathroom door and knelt down on the ground infront of Aliza.
She sucked in a sharp breath as she removed the bandage from Aliza's hands.
"Why did you clean up the glass? Billie asked while helping Aliza up and running her hands under cold water.
Aliza only shrugged, not wanting to get yelled at again
Billie inhaled sharply once again and studied Aliza's breathing.
Her breaths were heavy and rapid.
Billie didn't mention it though.
She nearly wrapped Aliza's hands the right way and walked away, leaving her in the bathroom.
"I'm going out." Billie mumbled, suddenly Aliza was alone with her thoughts.
She wanted to end it all. But there was one problem.
Billie locked up any sharp object, every pill bottle and anything she could use to harm herself.
Aliza went outside, of course without Billie's permission.
Although it was a bad city, Aliza needed a break. She needed to feel the cool breeze hit her face and correct her breathing.
But in the process of calming down she got locked out of the house and the sharp autumn breeze was painfully chilling.
She was stuck outside for an hour until Billie came home and found her sitting on the porch.
"Why are you outside dressed like that? Where's your jacket?" Billie huffed while walking up to her.
"Got locked out." Aliza mumbled.
"Go inside." Billie jiggled the key into the lock and shoved the door open for the shivering girl.
Billie placed her hands on Aliza's shoulder and guided her inside.
God was she shivering.
Billie went upstairs and collected the biggest blanket she owned and brought it downstairs and wrapped Aliza in it, surely warming her up in no time.
"Are you still angry with me?" Aliza asked with her voice breaking.
"No. Just upset." The older woman cold responded.
"I'm sorry for whatever I did to upset you."
"Why?" Billie quickly turned to Aliza, wanting to know exactly why she was so sorry.
"I. I feel safe here. He can't hurt me here."
"Who can't hurt you? Aliza answer me. Stop with the silence." Billie was eager to know. So eager exact that she started naming off people.
But Aliza stopped her.
"Alex. He tried to kill me after our parents died. But.. his best friend hurt me worse the one that killed himself."
"Jason." Billie said with a soft, much calmer voice.
"Mhm."
"But he's dead Minnie. How would he hurt you?"
Billie rubbed her hand against Aliza's cold hand and grabbed it tightly.
"He killed himself because of me Bil and that's why Alex tried to hurt me."
Aliza turned to Billie and hugged her tightly. Billie hugged her back, allowing her to cry on her shoulder.
"Poor baby... it's okay. I'm sorry, okay? I'm sorry I'm so mean." Billie cooed while playing with her hair.
Aliza couldn't form words at this point.
She just cried and cried until she couldn't produce anymore tears.
"You're exhausted Minnie. Sleep." Billie whispered while wiping the tears off of Aliza's face.
"I'll be here when you wake up."
