"She's safe here Alexander. Quit showing up on my doorstep." Billie slammed the door in his face but he pushed it open again
"I'm not going away unless I talk to Aliza." He demanded to see his baby sister.
"Minnie! Come down." Billie shouted, her angry voice echoing through the paper thin walls of the house.
She heard Aliza's feet hitting the stairs and pacing down them at a fast speed.
"Yeah?" Aliza quietly replied while stepping into the main room of the house.
"Do you feel safe here?" Billie asked while fixing her hair.
   "Yeah."
"And do you want to go back to Brooklyn and live with your family?" Billie asked, allowing Aliza to speak up for herself.
"I'm happier here." Her voice got arguably quieter when she noticed Alexander in the doorway.
"I'm not asking you to come home I'm asking you to treat me like family, not like some worthless bum." Alexander clearly spoke.
"Every time I'm around an argument happens. It seems like you guys are happier without me there. Hence the smiles in the photos in the Bahamas." Aliza walked away and Billie closed the door.
"Minnie. Stop walking and come here." Billie said while setting her phone in the counter.
"What?" Aliza definitely had an attitude.
She walked back up to Billie and just looked at her.
Billie placed her finger under Aliza's chin and kissed her lips.
"Number one Aliza, lose the attitude. Number two, if you want to go home then go on, I can't stop you and I won't be mad at you got it?" Billie raised her eyebrow and Aliza nodded.
"I don't wanna go back though. I made it clear so many times."
"Go get changed. We're going out to a party. Bring your gun down first." Billie ran her hand down the back of Aliza's neck and placed a small kiss on her lips before sending her off on her way.
At the party Aliza was clung onto Billie side like a child. She really didn't like parties. But if she was with Billie it was okay.
"I'm gonna go upstairs real fast Minnie. Wait for me down here. No drinking either." Billie kissed Aliza's forehead and watched her go into the game room before she ran up the stairs.
About an hour has passed and Aliza was getting a little nervous about being alone for so long so she crept up the stairs while everyone was snorting cocaine, smoking weed, popping pills and drinking some hardcore shit.
"Hey little girl I don't think you should go up there." A familiar voice said from behind her.
Aliza jumped and turned around only to see Natasha.
"Tasha oh my god! You scared me." Aliza turned around to hug her mother figure.
"Billie's up there. I want to let her know that I'm getting tired." Aliza spoke loudly over the music and shouting of people.
"Be careful. It's crazy as fuck up there. If you can't find her I'll be over by the drinks."
Aliza gave Natasha a nod before walking up the stairs confidently.
And to her surprise she heard Billie's laugh from a room on the left.
"I gotta go." She heard Billie said before opening the door, buttoning her shirt back up, only to be met with Aliza.
"Oh. Um." Aliza stuttered with tears in her eyes.
"It's not what you think Minnie. Let's go home okay?" Billie reached for Aliza's hand but to her surprise Aliza jolted her hand back.
"What the hell was that Billie?" Aliza wiped her eyes before any tears came out. She didn't want to look weak right now.
"Cmon. Let's go home." Billie walked past Aliza and went right down the stairs. But Aliza had other plans.
She knocked on the door and waited for an answer.
"Billie?" A woman said from the other side of the door, opening it and immediately closing it back.
Aliza pushed the door open with her foot and looked at the girl who was covering her exposed chest with a white blanket.
Aliza scoffed and sped angrily down the stairs.
"Where are you going?" Billie sighed while following Aliza outside.
   "Away from you." Aliza sniffled.
"Come here. Aliza come here!" Billie growled, slabbing her hand on the hood of the car, startling Aliza.
Aliza stopped in her footsteps and turned to Billie with tears in her eyes.
"What did you and that girl do? Tell me Billie! When we get back to your house I'm packing my shit and going back to live with Alexander."
Aliza got into the car and laid the seat back, turning her back to Billie.
"I didn't have sex with her if that's what you're implying Aliza. I was giving her a tattoo." Billie spoke while starting the car.
Aliza didn't speak.
On the two hour drive back home she had fallen asleep which meant Billie was carrying her inside to bed, surely not waking her up in the process.
In the morning Aliza didn't speak to Billie.
That turned into the whole day.
And then 4 days.
And finally 9 days Aliza spoke to Billie.
"I'm sorry." Aliza said, practically falling to Billie's feet.
"Stop that nonsense Aliza Faith." Billie spoke while pulling the girl on to her lap and holding her there tightly.
"You are the greatest thing that has ever happened to me Aliza. Do not walk out the door and leave what we have behind." Billie wholeheartedly whispered while playing with Aliza's brown hair.
Aliza cried silently into Billie chest, never seeming to let go to take a breath.
Billie just quietly comforted her.
"Besides... my past is my past. I don't fuck around with peoples feelings anymore." Billie spoke in a breathy tone.
She kissed Aliza's head so sweetly and rubbed the girls back in a soft, comforting manner.
"I love you."
