"I don't think that's necessarily the answer to all of your problems Alexander. You can't just smoke and drink away your feelings. You need to let people in." Aliza spoke but he just shut her out.
He poured himself another glass of whiskey and hissed as it burned his throat.
"Just go bother Elijah or something. I'm going out." He responded, completely ignoring what his young sister had just said.
Aliza stomped to her room and closed the door before tossing herself onto her bed.
"Hey. Hungry?" Natasha asked while walking into the girls room.
"No thanks. I'm worried about Alex." She spoke.
"We all are. But we can't help him unless he wants it. If you're not hungry rest up. They're taking you on another run to Staten Island."
Aliza looked at Natasha with wide eyes.
"Elijah spoke to Alex. He said he'll give it another try but if you fuck up again it's your last. Not that I'm saying you fucked up. You were scared. I understand." Natasha rubbed the girls back and walked out of the room.
Aliza used the time to choose an outfit and dinner makeup.
Once she finished there was a heavy knock at her door.
"Let's go. Boots. Helmet. Gun." Alexander said from outside the door.
She did what she was told. She put on her boots and tucked her gun in her waistband and ran out to the garage to grab her helmet.
She climbed in the back of the bike and they headed back out to Staten Island.
"Just so you know it's not a run. It's a party and I need to gain our respect back." He said while getting off the bike.
Aliza only nodded and followed him into the house.
The smell of sweat, weed and alcohol filled her senses as she walked inside. There were people doing coke at the table infront of the door and once she fully made it inside she got separated from Alex and Eli.
"Hey pretty thing. Wanna follow me out to my car? The seats lay back." A tall man asked while grabbing Aliza by her hips.
"Jace. Step away." A voice said, pausing to cock a gun.
It's Billie.
The girl who had taken Aliza home overnight right after shooting at her.
She held the gun to the back of his head and watched him slowly back away from the young girl.
"You need to find your brothers and stick with them. There's some nasty motherfuckers in here and I'd hate to see your pretty ass come up missing." She said while tucking her gun back into the holster.
"I don't know where my brothers are." Aliza truthfully spoke, her voice low and quiet.
"Come on." Billie grabbed the girl. Y her wrist and led her down to the basement where her brothers were, slamming money down on the table with a handful of playing cards.
"You want her safe? Keep her with you." Billie pushed the girl infront of Alexander and he scoffed.
"Aliza go hang with Billie." His drunk words slurred and slammed the cards down on the table.
"I thought you guys don't like each other." Aliza said, confused.
"We don't. But you're something we both want. Follow me."
Billie led the girl to the bar and looked at the person serving drinks.
"My usual. Nothing for her. She's still a baby." Billie pushed cash on the table and waited for her drink.
"Your brothers killed my boss which left me higher up than everyone. Your brothers and I have a long history and I'd hate to see them dead... but what worries me most is you not being secure with them." Billie started, pausing to take a shot.
" I had a gun to Alexander's head last year. I almost blew his brains out." She began speaking, again, stopping to take a shot.
"We almost joined your mafia family. But your brother is stubborn as fuck. I guess he's stuck in the old ways huh?"
Aliza turned to look at whoever was behind her and it was Jace. The creep.
"Hey ignore him. Let him try something and I will blow his brains out right here right now."
