"Let's go Aliza." Alexander said while shaking the sleeping girl.
She stirred and opened her eyes, realizing she had fallen asleep in Billie's bed.
"Cmon. A friend of mine is driving the motorcycle down to our place and we're taking the car." He spoke while helping the girl put her shoes on.
Aliza nodded and followed her brother downstairs, where the party was. But there's no more party. It's just people talking.
The walked outside and got into the black Mercedes.
Aliza climbed into the back seat and was ready to fall asleep but she realized that this was Billie's car.
"I thought your friend was bringing the bike. Not Billie."
"Mind your business Aliza. Go to sleep." Alexander cleared his throat and began driving.
Elijah was following behind on his motorcycle, yet Aliza still sat in the back seat.
She mostly preferred the back seat so she could sleep.
And that's what she did. She dozed off. And when she awake she was being carried to her bed by Alexander.
He covered her with her blanket after he gently placed her on the soft sheets and he hit the lights on the way out.
And in the morning she went downstairs, expecting Natasha to be there, making her breakfast but Billie was there.
"Where's Natasha?" Aliza sleepily groaned while walking up to Alexander.
"In her room. She isn't feeling too well." He politely responded.
Aliza went back upstairs leaving Billie dumbfounded.
"Why is she so obsessed with Natasha?" Billie asked while serving food to the boys.
"Long story. Why are you still here?" Alexander  set the glass of whiskey in the table and sat straight.
"I want to make amends." She slid a stack of money on the table and looked at him with her eyebrow raised.
"This is half. I'll give you the rest if you take the deal." She began.
"What deal Eilish? Make it fast so you can get out of my house."
   "You know... join mafia families?"
Before Alexander could respond Aliza came down. She was visibly upset and just stood there, staring at Alexander.
"You're taking out the library to make room for another office?" She asked while crossing her arms.
"That isn't any of your concern Aliza. Let me be."
"No i'm not going to let you be. The library is special to me and you know that. If I could I'd spend every hour there. But you have a bug in your ass." Aliza stormed off. She found herself picking the lock and putting a chair against the door so it couldn't be opened.
She laid there in her stomach, reading one after another until it was well after dinner time.
There was a knock at the door, and nobody cared enough to check on her but Natasha.
But when she opened the door it was in fact not Natasha.
   It was Billie.
"I talked to him. The library stays."  She said while walking in.
Aliza shrugged and walked past Billie.
She made her way up to Natasha's room.
"What's going on? Why are you so upset?" She asked while sitting up.
"I don't want Billie here. And I don't want to give up the library."
"I thought he changed his mind Aliza?" Natasha patted the bed beside her and opened her arms.
"He only changed his mind because of Billie. That's why I don't want her around."
This was all getting too complex for Aliza. She took a deep breath and got up.
"I'm gonna go take a shower. I'll feel better after I'm sure." She walked away, closing Natasha's door behind her.
For the rest of the day Aliza didn't eat. She was too fixated on reading, just in case her brother took away the library for good.
"Aliza Faith. I told you reading is for bedtime. Not for fun. How come you don't have any friends?"
Alexander was always an hypocritical person.
Natasha thinks reading is an all day everyday activity.
"Put the book down and eat something." He spoke, nearly making Aliza jump. She thought he had left her room.
  "Be down in a minute."
