Rika, Drake, and Mars made it to the hideout. Mars knocked on the door and saw Nori. Nori was shocked and greeted them in the hideout. Everyone was happy to see them. Mars explained to them how they escaped. Princeton was eyeing Mars down. Zero walked over to his brother.
"Glad to you safe, brother."
"Same to you."
Their parents walked over to them and hugged them other. There was a knock at the hideout door. Everyone was confused. Mars walked over to the door. Slowly opening the door, to find Corin and Hanzo. Everyone drew their weapons out.
"I'm not here to fight. I'm here to talk." Corin said
"How did you find us?" Nori asked
"You think I don't know where the hideouts are?"
"What do you want Corin?" Mars was cutthroat.
"I'm glad you asked." Corin smiled and began to pace. "This battle of ours is coming to an end. The battle between brother and sister. Two different bloodlines at war for the throne."
"Get to the point," Princeton said angrily
Corin chuckled to herself.
"Princeton, I'm so sorry about your parents." Corin fake pouted. "What shoes they got in their casket, hmmm?"
Princeton ran towards her, but Mats stopped him.
"Corin..."
"Oh right. See Mars, or Kai whichever one you want to go by.... I believe this war is coming to a close. I know you guys are going to storm my castle. My forces against yours, all I want to say is may the best sibling win."
Mars rolled his eyes.
"Was that it?"
"No."
Hanzo disappeared. Everyone was looking for him, but no one could find him. Corin walked to the door. They heard Lucius and Yoichi scream.
"You will be missed, Uncle and Aunt."
Hanzo appeared next to Corin and the door closed.
Mars and Zero rushed over to their parents who were bleeding out on the floor.
"It looks like our time has come," Yoichi said weakly.
"We need you!" Zero cried
"You two are strong."
"We will give you two one final gift." Lucius was weak as well.
"Hold each other's hand and ours," Yoichi said
They did as they were told.
"The firstborn."
"The second born."
"The father of the King's flame."
"The Queen of the healing flame."
"We our children we gift you, our power."
"The King and Queen Flame." Lucius and Yoichi said together.
The room was filled with orange light and intense heat. The flames from the King and Queen transferred into Mars and Zero's bodies. Their veins glow orange. They felt their bodies heating up. As they were trying to control their bodies, their parents' bodies faded away, leaving behind jewelry. Mars and Zero got the heat under control. They both picked up their parents' jewelry. The brother walked over to Nathan.
"Can you turn the jewelry into armor for both of us?" Mars and Zero asked at the same time.
"Sure."
