Chapter 7: Breaking Vast Isle

Princeton was watching Mars getting dressed. Nathan had made Mars a new gear after his old gear was burned. Mars finished getting ready even though he was still bandaged up. Princeton was helping him walk.

"Why are you helping me?"

"I was your retainer before Jewel."

"So, you don't have to help me walk."

Princeton chuckled. They continued walking to the kitchen area of the hideout. Everyone was happy to see the prince awake. They all smiled at the prince. Nathan and Nori were setting the table for everyone to have a feast. Everyone sat down at the table. Yoichai and Princeton sat next to Mars. Nathan and Nori sat next to each other. Valaine sat on the other side of Nathan. Grim and Corin sat next to each other.

"It's glad you have you back," Corin said before sipping her drink.

"Thanks."

"We all saw you transform into that Hydra. How did you do it?" Nori asks while almost falling out of her chair out of excitement.

"Well before I meet all of you guys. I became friends with a hydra."

Everyone was shocked.

"Really?" Nathan questioned.

"Yeah. He taught me how to control my powers a bit more and taught me how to transform into one using my power."

"That's amazing," Valaine stated.

"The world we are in is magical."

After that, everyone started having their own conversations. Corin bit into her steak and listened to the conversations that were happening. She smiled a bit when an idea popped into her head.

"I opposed we go out and explore this land."

Everyone looked at her.

"Well, I will stay her," Yoichi said.

"I will stay with the queen," Jewel said

Everyone else agreed to explore.

"We shall explore later tonight."

Later that night, the group gathered by the door before heading out. Leaving the hideout, they were shocked to see how the vast isle was. The Vast Isle was bright at night. The people were laughing and dancing on the street and at every corner. Corin noticed a bar and gestured for everyone to follow her. When they entered the bar was packed. They looked for a table and sat down. A waiter came.

"Welcome to the festival of life. What drink can I get you?"

Everyone looked at the menu.

"We all take a shot of the festival of life special."

The waiter smiled and nodded. Everyone was having a good time. The waiter came back with six tall glasses filled with red and blue liquor.

"The festival of life special."

"They might get us messed up," Nathan said

"It will." The waiter said.

"You get the best experience if you chug it."

Everyone looked at each other. They all chugged the drink. The group started feeling the drink. Valaine put her hand on Nathan's thigh.

"So, Valaine what's the back story between Nathan and you?"

"He found a special outfit for me. I thought he was handsome and mysterious. I wanted to learn more about him."

Nathan bit his lip as Valaine rubbed his thigh.
