Mars awoke to the soft glow of sunlight streaming through the grand windows of the throne room. He blinked, his vision adjusting to the sight of his allies gathered around him, their expressions a mix of relief and joy.

"Welcome back, Your Majesty," Zero said, a grin spreading across his face. "You've reclaimed your throne."

Mars shifted in his seat, the weight of the moment settling over him. "I'm... king now?"

The room erupted in cheers. Damien clapped him on the back, his smile wide. "You've earned it, brother. No one else could have faced Corin and lived to tell the tale."

"And don't worry," Hanzo added, stepping forward with a chuckle. "We'll do our time in the dungeon for the trouble we caused. Can't have the new king's enemies running free, can we?"

Mars chuckled, feeling the warmth of camaraderie. "No, we definitely can't."

Rika stepped forward, her expression serious yet proud. "If you'll have me, I want to serve as your general. We'll protect this kingdom together."

"Absolutely," Mars replied, his voice steady. "And I appoint Nori and Nathan as my spies. We need to keep a close eye on any threats."

Nori nodded, her eyes sparkling with determination. "We won't let anything slip by us."

"And Kuda," Mars continued, "you will be my royal protector. I need someone I can trust at my side."

Kuda bowed slightly, a fierce look in his eyes. "I'll do everything in my power to keep you safe."

Jewel stepped forward, her fiery spirit undiminished. "And I will remain your retainer, always ready to assist you, Mars."

Feeling the weight of responsibility settling upon him, Mars took a deep breath. "Thank you, all of you. Together, we will rebuild this kingdom."

Just then, Princeton approached, his expression shy yet determined. "Mars," he began, his voice wavering slightly. "I know this might seem sudden, but... would you consider allowing me to serve you in another capacity? As your partner?"

The room fell silent, eyes wide in anticipation. Mars's heart raced as he looked into Princeton's hopeful gaze. "Are you asking me to marry you?" he asked, astonished.

Princeton nodded, a shy smile breaking through his nervousness. "Yes. I want to stand by your side not just as your partner but as the king of the dragons. Together, we can combine our kingdoms and bring peace to both lands."

A wave of emotion washed over Mars. He couldn't help but smile, feeling warmth in his chest. "I accept, Princeton. I would be honored to have you by my side and unite our kingdoms."

Cheers erupted once more, filling the throne room with a sense of hope and joy. But just as the celebrations began, a dark cloud seemed to sweep over the room.

A chilling wind gusted through the hall, causing the banners to flutter violently. Suddenly, a figure materialized at the entrance, her presence commanding and fierce. It was Aone, Corin's mother, her eyes blazing with rage.

"Your reign is built on the ashes of my daughter's defeat," Aone declared, her voice like thunder. "You will pay for what you have done!"

The joyous atmosphere turned to one of tension and dread as Mars rose from his throne, facing the new threat head-on. "We will protect our kingdom from you, just as we did from Corin!"

Aone's gaze shifted, locking onto Damien, who stood among Mars's allies. "And you, Damien," she spat, her voice laced with disappointment. "You choose to stand with him? With these traitors?"

"Mother," Damien said, his voice steady but strained, "you don't understand. Corin's power trip was spiraling out of control. She was becoming a tyrant. Joining Mars was the only choice I could make."

Aone's eyes narrowed, hurt flashing across her face. "You're a fool to think this will end well. You were raised to follow the legacy of our family, not to betray it!"

"I'm not betraying anything," Damien shot back, his resolve hardening. "I'm protecting the future. Corin was going to destroy everything, including you. I couldn't let that happen."

"Do you think joining forces with him will keep you safe? This is just the beginning!" Aone's voice trembled with rage, and her presence seemed to darken the room.

"I believe in what we're building here," Damien replied, stepping closer to Mars's side. "We can create a new legacy together, one built on unity and strength, not fear and control."

Aone scoffed, her expression a mixture of fury and disappointment. "You'll regret this decision, Damien. I swear it."

As the tension crackled in the air, Mars stood firm, ready to defend his ally. "We won't let you tear us apart, Aone. This kingdom is strong, and we will fight for it!"

Aone's laughter echoed through the hall, dark and foreboding. "You think this is the end? No, this is merely the beginning. Prepare for war!"

With renewed determination, they rallied around him, standing united against the dark tide that threatened their kingdom.

The throne room, once a symbol of despair, now glowed with the light of hope and resilience. But outside, the winds began to shift, and the shadows deepened, signaling that a fierce conflict awaited them. Their journey was far from over, and they would need every ounce of strength to protect what they had built.
