Chapter 15: Reunion Part 1

He was in bad shape. Had one eye closed and the other one barely open. He barely knocked on the door. Leaning against the door waiting for someone to open. The door opened and the male was shocked. He quickly grabbed the man and helped the injured male into the house. The male put the injured male in bed and started to tend to his wounds.

"Thank you." The injured male said before passing out.

The male didn't respond and continued his work.

Hours later the male was waiting for the injured male to wake up.

"Morning."

"Morning."

"How are you feeling?"

"Better, but I have something to tell you."

"What is it?"

"The duo destroyed my family and my people."

Mars was shocked, but at the same time, he wasn't.

"I see their is now showing her true colors."

Princeton was confused by that statement.

"What do you mean?"

"Nothing."

"No! You are hiding something, and I want to know."

"Get some rest."

Mars was about to walk away but Princeton stopped him.

"What do you know?"

"Nothing."

"You're lying."

"Get some rest."

"My people died to protect you and me and this how you pay me?"

"What are you talking about?"

"My Parents told me what you had done for them. Giving them their Island. They were extremely grateful, and you are just cold like your father."

That struck a nerve with the prince.

He slightly turned his head and was looking over his shoulder at Princeton.

"She is trying to take the throne. She was the traditor. That power she has is from her mother and father. My Uncle and Aunt. My Uncle is pretending to be my father. My father is imprisoned on a secret Island. My Uncle took the throne when I was nine and rewrote history making me the second born. The duo is my half-siblings because my uncle raped my mother long before he took the throne."

Princeton was shocked and didn't know how to respond.

"I know her plans but attacking you and your family wasn't part of it. She up to something and we must stop her."

"What about the other?"

"I'm not worried about him."

"Why not?"

"Just not. Like I said before get some rest."

Mars walked away and closed the door. Princeton didn't move. He was still wrapping his head around what he just heard. The door opened and he saw the Queen.

"I'm glad to see you awake."

"Thank you."

"I heard Mars told you everything."

"Yeah, but is it true?"

"Yes. Everything he said is true."

"So, what is the duo planning?"

"We don't know but we will find out."

Princeton was walking and saw Mars sitting down outside through a window. He wanted out of the hideout and sat next to him. Mars looked at him and went back to looking at the sky. He reached for his and held it. Mars didn't react.

"I'm sorry."

"It's okay."

"So, what are we going to do now?"

"I'm waiting for something to happen."

"What's that?"

"You will find out."

"Why can't you tell me?"

"I'm waiting to see if the throne will be taken."

"What if it does?"

"Then we continue the plan," Mars said calmly.

Princeton smiled a bit.

"You are going be a great King one day."

"Thanks, but I would still have to fight for the throne."

Princeton chuckled.

"I know."

"I'm sorry for keeping things from you."

"It's okay."

"So, are all your people gone?" Mars asked.

"No. Some escaped into hiding. My parents are dead though."

"Sorry."

"It's okay. I'm glad I'm still alive."

"Me too."

They noticed they both moved closer to each other.

"Can I sleep in your room tonight?" Princeton asked shyly

"Sure."

Nathan made it to Sanguine Cove, looking for his sister. He felt everyone looking at him because he wasn't a sanguine. Someone approached him.

"You don't belong here."

"I'm looking for my sister. She's one of you."

The person looked confused.

"That's impossible."

"I don't have time for this." Nori moved passed the person and called out for his sister.

Everyone was shocked. He ran past everyone screaming his sister's name. Until he saw Koda.

"It's you.... Do you know where Nori is?"

Koda nodded.

"Please take me to her."

Koda grabbed Nathan's hand and took him to Nori. They ended up in a safe house. Nathan saw Nori, he rushed over to her and burst into tears.

"Valaine is dead."
