The First Time We Met

I know I say this a lot but I'm really sorry for not updating.

POV: Len
The next morning Rin and I got our things ready so we can go to the vocaloid mansion (yes, I know everyone says vocaloid mansion but please deal with it) Rin and I were excited because we were now vocaloids like our friends.

We went to the lobby and saw gakupo there. "Hi, we'll be leaving now" gakupo said leading us to a tour bus that said 'VOCALOID' We drove to the vocaloid mansion, Meiko said that the others would be there too.

"I'll go say hi to Miku first, I'm sure she'll be happy!" Rin said excitedly once we got there. I just smiled at her because I didn't know what else to do. It wasn't the same without [Y/N], she really made me happy.

I then remembered what Meiko said at the competition. They were going to choose [Y/N], she started acting strange after the second competition. That's when she broke up with me, she dropped out of the competition yesterday. Could she have known she was going to win?

"Len?" Rin asked. "Yeah, sorry" I said. "I asked you if you were excited to see kaito again" Rin said. "Yeah, I guess" I said. "Hey Rin, do you still have some stuff at school?" I asked. "Yes I do, I was going to take my things home tomorrow" Rin said. "Do you think we can go get them? I asked.

"I'll ask" Rin said walking up to Miku. "Miku!!" I heard Rin yell and Miku ran to hug her. I waited for Rin to come back and when she did she said we had two hours to be back.

POV: {Y/N}
I was at school packing up my things in boxes to take back home. Once I was finished I sat on my bed and stared at Rin's side of the room, it was all orange. 'That girl and her obsession for oranges' I thought remembering the fun times we had together.

I heard someone singing, it was Len. He was singing a song I've never heard before, did he write it? It sounded so beautiful but I don't think it was a finished song. "Like a fire flower" I heard him say but then he stopped. Yup. He hasn't finished writing the song yet. I heard Rin's voice next. "I'll be back in a few minutes Len~" "okay" Len said. I ran into my closet hoping that Rin wouldn't find me.

A few minutes later the noise of Rin packing stopped and she started walking towards my side of the room. "She hasn't picked up her boxes yet?" I heard Rin whisper to herself.

Rin then left the room, I wonder where she was going. I got out of the closet and I walked out of the room with my boxes but then I bumped into someone. "Sorry" I said getting up. "It's oka- [Y/N]?" I heard a familiar voice. "Len?" I asked confused. "What are you doing here?" We both asked at the same time and then we started laughing. "This reminds me" Len started saying. "When we first met" I finished saying with him.

We smiled at each other, it's like as if we never broke up. "So?" He asked awkward. "How've you been?" I asked. "Not so good" he said. "Why?" I asked. "Because I'm still sad about the breakup" Len said while his smile disappeared. "Len I'm-" I said but I was cut off by Len.

"[Y/N], it's okay. You were right, one of us was going to win and that was you. Why did you drop out?" He asked. "I overheard the judges say I was going to win and I though it would be better if you won. Now you and Rin will be part the new vocaloids. I'm happy for you both" I said with a smile.

"Thank you [Y/N]. I'll never forget you" Len said. "Me too" I said. Len and I hugged goodbye then we parted our ways.

POV: Len
"LEN!!" I heard Rin scream. I turned around and she came out of her old dorm. "I saw you  talking with [Y/N] but I didn't want to interrupt so I walked into my room. But! When I walked in I noticed something on the floor while I was walking out just now." Rin said as she stopped for air.

"What did you find?" I asked. "[Y/N]'s necklace" Rin said holding up a silver necklace with diamonds and it was in the shape of [Y/N]'s name. "Rin, I would give it back to her but she already left and we have to go too" I said looking at my watch.

"You should keep it, you might see her in the future" Rin said winking and putting the necklace in my hand. She ran to the limo before I could say a word. I stood there smiling for a while but then I put the necklace in my pocket, picked up my boxes and walked to the limo.
