***Amaya's POV***

"Now, the time has arrived! At long last, our second set of fearsome fighters are entering the ring, so I hope you're ready for Block B!" The main announcer riled up the crowd.

I walked over the chain link pathways that led to the center of the arena. They were temporary walkways before the beginning of the battle. My hand rested on my sheathed sword that was on my hip.

The plan was to dodge and observe at the beginning before making a move. No need to waste energy, then I can go all out.

We were delayed since one of the competitors was running late. I'm honestly impressed that the staff here had all of us accounted for.

"Good news folks! They finally found one of the missing competitors. This one is going to make a big splash in Block B! In only a year, he and his crew made it to the waters of the New World! He's on the fast track to infamy! Absolutely brutal, absolutely crazy! He roasted pirates on a skewer and filmed it for the world to see! He opened fire on innocent civilians for no good reason! Recently ranked number one in the 'Most Annoying Pirates Who Should Just Go Away' competition."

I snickered at the name of the competition before turning around to see who the fuss was all about.

"The irrepressible, irredeemable...Bartolomeo!"

I was surprised. The green haired man with a gold nose ring and protruded fangs walked into the arena. I'd forgotten who crazy he was to the world since he's a hard core Luffy fan. I'll just avoid him for now. No need to blow my cover so soon. Why else would I bother with a face mask.

The man quickly irritated the crowd enough for them to throw trash at the green haired pirate. After having his fun, he then threw an object into the stands, tricking them into thinking that it was a bomb.

Idiots. I roll my eyes at the ridiculousness of the situation. That's clearly a blackened baseball. Talk about pathetic.

Apparently, I wasn't the only one thinking the same thing as Bartolomeo didn't say it only once but thrice.

Sounds of chugging could be heard over the intercom. "This bastard is making us look like fools! Let's forget him for now." The announcer slightly raged. "Now we've got one final competitor entering the ring. This fighter is loyal to our king Doflamingo. So loyal, in fact, that he brought the king a giant gold pillar from a distant land! He's more than worthy of winning this tournament!"

Bias much? Geez. I wonder if Bellamy took the other half of the pillar of the Grand Belfrey? Could he even carry that much?

The crowd went wild again as Bellamy entered the field.

"And that's not all! Since then, he's been ransacking towns in various countries whose people slandered our nation's great name! He's come to be known as the Bullet of Dressrosa! And, at long last, he's been granted this opportunity by King Doflamingo himself!

The stakes are already high today, but for him, they're even higher! If he is able to achieve victory, then this dedicated combatant will be promoted to an executive position in the Don Quixote Family! This combatant is a strong contender! He could take it all!

Give it up for Bellamy the Hyena!"

The crowd started to chant his name as their noise level rose even higher than normal. I'm so glad I deactivated the rumble fruit or else my poor ears would be annoyed to say the least.

"It appears we have all 139 competitors gathered in the ring!"

I looked around at the competitors, trying to spot the ones worth keeping an eye on. There was the king who always punched the air, but he was a serious slow starter. There were only nine or so in total to pay attention too. The rest were just cannon fodder from the looks of things.
