***Amaya's POV***
We traveled until some dilapidated huts came into view.
"Okiku-chan!" Tsuru calls out as we neared one of the buildings at the end of the town.
In front of the teahouse was a tall lady in a kimono, holding a tray for serving. Standing in her way was a large, large man, who matched the proportions of a bowling ball on legs.
Just from listening in as we neared, I could tell he was a scoundrel who used his status to pursue ladies.
Stealing her opportunity, the lady turns to wave at us. "Tsuru-san!" Making the pink-hair bozo behind her look up in confusion.
"Otama-chan drank poison from the river." Tsuru calls to her.
At first I was confused, until I saw the newcomer quickly focus on us. Ah, I see. Tsuru already gave her an out to avoid the man. Clever.
"Oh no! That's awful." Okiku exclaims.
We arrived in front of the building, climbing down from the large dog. Ace carried Otama as we neared them.
Although confused at why Tsuru was saying what she was, Lu spoke. "Please, help her in any way you can."
"Okiku-chan, brew the Evil-Purging Herbs." Tsuru instructs before Okiku dashes into the hut with a 'leave it to me.'
"Oi!" The large man yelled at her retreating back until he redirected his attention to Lu who followed inside. "Who are you fools-pe?! Okiku and I were talking-pe!"
What a horrible quirk, ending every word in pe. He would clearly get bullied if he weren't as strong in stature as he was. Even then with the ways he's acting, I'm tempted now.
We ignored him as we headed inside, Zoro leading the way as Ace and I trailed behind. However, the large man wasn't only blocking the door, but our view of the hut as well.
"Hey," Zoro starts. "I'm sorry, but your fat-ass is in our way." He states. "Move aside." He finishes, earning a yell of indignation from the man.
Unbothered, Zoro stands there.
"Why would I have to do that-" He stops midway after looking directly at Zoro, but judging the energy behind me, Ace wasn't slacking on expressions either.
I wish Chi were here. She would be dissing the man, so hard that I'd be trying my best not to laugh. Sanji better be looking out for her.
The large man quickly retreats, saying, "Okiku, I'll have a match in Bakura Town later-pe. I'll show you how strong I am, so come see if you're interested!"
Once he cleared out of sight, we entered.
"Coast is clear. The big guy is gone." I state. "You can stop the special detoxing tea, but I'll gladly pay for some regular tea."
"Of course." Tsuru agrees as she instructs Okiku do so though.
"Did Otama-chan drink the poisoned water?" Okiku asks, confused.
"Yes, but Ama already got it all out of her system. She just needs something to eat now to fully recover." Ace explains.
"You're a doctor?" Okiku's questions me, surprised.
I nod my head. "Yes, although," I look at Otama. "I can do many things with my abilities, but I can't make any food. Please help her."
"I'll get it together right away." Okiku went to work.
"For now, you can place her on this blanket." Tsuru tells Ace who was still holding her.
"Thank you." He replied, laying her small frame on the fabric.
