Chapter 78: Priority: Kids

***Amaya's POV***

Once everyone entered the Lab, Law closed the shutter once again. The mechanical machine slowly lowered into place before it once again blocked us from the outside threat.

BOOOM!

Two large cuts appeared on the shutters that just closed. A large man with a man's torso and an alligator body crashed through the newly cut opening.

Along with him were the other Straw Hat members. Zoro, 'Nami', 'Sanji', Usopp, Brook.

There were two other additions. The first was the completed body of the Samurai that I met earlier while the other was a smaller version of the dragon we fought earlier.

"'They cut the shutter!'" All the marines yelled.

"Hey! Everyone's here, huh?" Lu called down to his crew.

"Nice entrance, Zoro!" I called down as well. I would notice that man's swordsmanship anywhere. Although, only half of it seemed to be his work. Was the other half from the Samurai?

Zoro seemed to puff up slightly with pride after my comment. He was a comical sight since Chi was hanging onto his head. Glad to see that she's safely here, too.

"Alright!" Lu spoke again. "We're all back together! Let's let loose!"

"Not good!" Usopp panicked. "It's good we made it in, but the poison gas will come in, too!"

Oh, right. Minor detail.

"Screw you guys! Are you trying to get us all killed?" A random Marine yelled.

"Everyone, try to plug up the hole, or we're all going to die.!" They rushed around.

All the marines worked together to lift and fit the cut section of the wall back into place. However, at this rate we'll be caught in the fog.

"They're moving too slow." I comment before using lightning to flash over. "Step aside, I'll weld it in place." I placed my hand on the metal, sending loads of electricity to its perimeter to seal it secure.

The sound of the dense fog hitting the door sounded soon after. The wall as a whole rattled from the impact, but the freshly welded section held strong.

A collective sigh of relief rang out.

"I guess we're safe now." 'Nami', still in the chef's body, spoke out.

I walked over to her and Usopp. "Don't go jinxing us now, Nami."

"CHi cHI!" She squeaked in happiness, earning my attention.

"I'm glad you're safe too, Chi. Greenie here didn't get lost on the way again did he?" I question, making my way over to them.

"Oi!" He complained.

Brook then used his soul separating technique to check the situation outside.

"It's still pretty dense. One step out the door and you're dead." His soul hovered over his detached skeletal body. "When I think about what could have happened if we were trapped in that fog terrifies me."

"You terrify us!" Some marines snapped in horror at the sight.

"Good." Zoro states.

"Don't 'good' us. We all could've died because of you!" They then snapped at Greenie. We're lucky the lady next to you sealed up the hole!"

They then all directed their weapons to us pirates that were here on the ground floor.

"Give it up Straw Hats! You too Brownbeard!"
