***Amaya's POV***

Murder.

That was the first thing I contemplated when the homies woke me up from my blissful dream. Had they no mercy for my sleep deprived self? Shouldn't the bride get enough sleep before her wedding, so she doesn't look like a hot mess?

Anyways that was my morning, annoyed to death as the homies poked, proded, and forced me into a wedding dress.

Hours upon hours of preparation before a chess soldier piece that was brought to life walked me to the brides and grooms waiting room.

I was the second to arrive after Pudding who was putting on the final touches of a veil. Once I was inside a veil was also fitted to my long crimson hair that wasn't tied up for once.

"You look beautiful! Congratulations on your marriage to my big brother!" Pudding happily spoke to me in her fake persona.

I heard everything last night while baking. The woman in front of me, dressed as a doll, was in charge of shooting Sanji the moment he lifted her veil to kiss her. Needless to say, that's bad news.

Donning a sheepish smile myself, I look away, pretending to be shy when really I didn't want to look at her. "You don't say."

The door opened to reveal Sanji and Katakuri entering, dressed in white suits that matched our dresses.

Sanji looked nice, but I was stunned at Katakuri's appearance. I've only ever seen him in his regular outfit up to this point, but he pulled this look off so well.

"You look lovely, Amaya." His voice broke me out of my staring, causing me to look away in real embarrassment this time.

"T-Thanks, you look handsome yourself." I took a breath before turning to face him. "You can call me Ama. As far as I'm concerned, we're friends, Katakuri." His eyes crinkled slightly when I met them, sharing his smile in a different form.

"Ama, then. After our wedding, would you like to spar to make up for yesterday?"

I open my mouth to speak, but he spoke my words instead, having already seen them.

"You have a surprise for me instead. I see. I look forward to seeing it." He finished.

I chuckled. "Was that meant to be literal? I didn't know you were a jokester, Katakuri."

Katakuri averted his gaze before he led me over to one of the couches in the room, giving us some space from Sanji and Pudding.

While we waited to be summoned, I was lost in thought, trying to piece together what details I had figured out at this point. Lu had partnered up with Bege, that brute, so they would crash the wedding at some point.

I recall the cake crashing down, but no other details from my past life when it came to the chaos caused by Lu. But then, what about Katakuri? What will change? Will I have to fight him in order to escape? I honestly don't want to fight him. He's been very kind ever since we met.
