***3rd Person POV***
The first week went agonizingly slow for the swordswoman. She was stuck in bed without even the use of her arms. Even with Robin coming to read to her, Nami coming to complain about the others, Sanji bringing her food, Chopper checking in on her, Franky telling her about some of his inventions, Brook's music, Usopp's made up stories, Luffy's normal antics, and Zoro's quiet silence, she was bored of sitting in bed.
In her freetime to herself, she would mentally plan different scenarios about upcoming events that she knew would soon take place. She would always be irritated at the end as she couldn't remember many details, only big events.
While Amaya was resting, the crew set off to their next adventure. Nami was gifted a vivre card from Lola who mentioned that her mother was a pirate and that the card would help in the future.
After Lola told them what the vivre card was, Luffy learned that Ace's life was in trouble from the state of the vivre card he gave him in Alabasta.
Once Chopper had cleared Amaya to walk around and use one arm, the first place she went to was her room to grab her medical book about acupuncture. After spending an hour revisiting the material, she came up with a solution that would help her boredom while she healed.
Going to Chopper, the girl posed her plan. She wanted to use acupuncture to put her into a deep sleep that would last for an extended period of time. During this time, the body would solely focus on healing her internal injuries. The downside to this process was there was a minimum time requirement or else there would be repercussions from the treatment.
Chopper agreed to the girl's request, knowing she did it so she could heal. Instead of the sickbay, Amaya was treated in her own bed, so that the other girls could also keep an eye on her.
The others were irritated at the reindeer for not telling them their plan before she was put under. They enjoyed talking to her often even if she couldn't move around. They were even more upset, hearing that the minimum time limit was three weeks.
***Time Skip-Three Weeks- Amaya's POV***
My eyes opened to see a blue-nosed reindeer in front of me, holding a plethora of senbon needles in his hooves.
"Ah! You're awake." He said happily, noticing my opened eyes. "I only have a few more needles to take out." He told me as he continued removing them.
I tried to move my arm that was free of needles, finding it to be very stiff.
"There! All done! Give your body a few minutes to adjust before trying to get up. I suggest doing some stretching and get your blood flowing before you come out to join us." He said as he walked out the door, closing it behind him.
I didn't even get the chance to ask, 'join them for what?' or did he mean just in general? I also didn't get to ask how long I'd been out. Oh well, I'll ask later.
Taking Chopper's suggestion, I dissipated into smoke, moving to the middle of the room before rematerializing. I then used the flame-flame power to warm my stiff muscles. After a couple of minutes, I started to do different stretches, focusing on different muscle groups.
Besides being majorly stiff, I felt great, but I should probably double check. "Room". I call, summoning the blue bubble. I scanned myself, taking note of all my main organs and all of the previous injuries I had sustained. I was back to normal. I was so glad this gamble paid off.
Feeling loosened enough to function normally, I looked at my dresser that had all my things on top of it. I brushed my long red hair before returning the black bandana from Ace in its place. I noticed how much Ace's vivre card shrunk in the process.
