***Amaya's POV***
So much for only a few more hours of forcing myself awake. It took nearly half a day to finally arrive at Amazon Lily: the all woman island. Even after Law and his crew arrived, they didn't bother to disembark immediately.
I mean it made sense. Afterall Luffy and Jinbe were both still unconscious and in need of care.
Seeing as they were still distracted, I used my abilities to get Ace and I out of there. With the help of the clear-clear fruit we were able to enter the forest of Amazon Lily unseen.
I carried the still unconscious Ace on my injured back to the other side of the island. For now the goal was to lay low. We couldn't let Luffy see us, at least not yet. He needed our deaths to be his motivation to train. Otherwise, he would stay too weak for the New World.
I found a large tree whose roots were slightly uplifted from the ground. The effect was an opening underneath that led into a small chamber. I dragged both Ace and I through the threshold.
Once I set Ace down on the earthy ground, I used the wax-wax fruit to make a bed to lay him on. I even added a wax pillow that had a squisher texture.
Having Ace taken care of, I made a table and chair for myself to sit on. I hardened the wax to not allow any give. It ended up being as strong as iron with my concentration.
I pulled out a regular piece of paper from my leg pouch to write Ace a note. Finally finished with all my endeavors, my mind was starting to fade in and out of consciousness.
I stood up, planning to make myself another wax bed for me to rest on. My body had other plans as it just collapsed front forward onto the already made one next to Ace. With that, I was out.
***3rd Person POV***
Ace groaned as his eyes opened.
He was confused. Didn't he die? He wondered.
Hearing deep breathing next to him, Ace noticed his best friend asleep next to him. He was relieved to see she was okay, but her position reminded him of their childhood.
He figured that somehow she managed to get them out of the war. He looked around the area, noticing a small amount of light that came from the root-made entrance of the tree.
He smiled. Now he was really reminded of their childhood. His grumbling stomach snapped him out of his memories. He stifled a groan to not wake up Ama before quietly getting off the wax made bed.
Ace noticed that there was also a table and chair made out of wax. He was amused to see another power that Ama had collected. He also noted that he should avoid his flames, so he didn't melt anything.
Hoping to find some food, he moved to the table. He didn't find food, but he did find a note with his name on it. Well he called it a note, but it was rather lengthy.
Sighing at his homework, he took a seat in the chair to read the message.
Ace, I know you're probably confused on how you got here. In short, the world thinks that the two of us are dead. I'll fill you in on details once I'm up.
We are on an island called Amazon Lily. It's an island of all women, and men are outlawed. So don't go out. I'll hunt for us once I'm up.
You're probably also wanting to know about Luffy. He's alive, but injured. He also thinks that we're dead, and as much as it hurts he needs to keep believing that for now. He's also on the island, so once again please don't leave the tree.
I'll answer all your questions once I'm up, so please be patient. We can make a plan after we talk.
~Ama
