*at Miller Mansion*

A girl came running out of the car slamming the door shut. As soon as she went in she was caught by Harper. Harper cupped her face with worried eyes.

Harper: what happened my child? Why are you crying like this? Did something happened?   *she looked at her with a concerned face*

Kate: aunty, I went to meet my mom today. I just missed her that's why.

Harper: stop lying to me. I know something happened you never cried like this before. And it's not the first time you went there, you never cried like this before. What's wrong?  Did master said something to you?

Kate cried more hugging her tight. As she ruined something miserably. She was scared to death now.

Kate: aunty, I-I m-messed up a b-big t-thing. I-I guess, f-father will k-kill me this t-time. *she said choking on her sobs*

Harper: what happened dear? *she said holding her both hands*

Harper took her to her room and made her settle on the bed. She passed her a glass of water, after making her a bit calm she asked again.

Harper: what's wrong my baby? please say something. Why will master kill you, my dear?

Kate told her about every thing how she encountered a man at graveyard, what he said to her, and how she slapped him.

Harper: oh my god, what else happened? Did he do something to you? Did he touched you somewhere else?

Kate shaked her head in denial still sobbing a little.

Kate: no, he didn't.

Harper: I know I'm not your mom but I care for you like one. Never think down about yourself. They will suffer to make you like this. They will pay for there deeds. I'm proud of you that you denied playing a part of his sin. Just stay strong your father is greedy he won't kill you either, he know what you own. So just stay strong my dear.

Kate hugged her listening to her words. She felt happy that she atleast have her as her family member.

Harper: now my dear calm down, I will go prepare your favorite dinner, okay?

Kate nodded her head a little.

Harper: now smile my darling.  *she said tickling her a little*

Kate giggled and smiled at her. Soon harper left to prepare dinner.

*Kate's POV*

As soon as aunty left, my smile fade away. I was scared to death I messed up, what if he got to know about this? he will lock me up like before.

Tears steamed down my cheek at the thought of that.

Kate: w-why i-its always m-me who has to s-suffer? b-because of h-her deeds I'm facing p-problem, w-why can't I be s-strong?

I hate being here if only I could run away, but I can't.

Soon she drifted of to sleep. After an hour Harper knocked on Kate's room but she got no response. Being worried she opened the door in hurry only to get a view of kate sleeping with lights on. Harper smiled at her. She went inside, settled the duvet properly on her, kissing her forehead she switched of the lights and went closing the door behind. As soon as she got down she saw andrew.

*Andrew's POV*

I came home after a long hectic day, when I came in I saw harper. She bowed to me asking if i would have dinner. I said yes.
