*At Gray's company*

Matthew sat behind his polished mahogany desk, the cityscape of Manhattan sprawling behind him through the glass walls of his corner office. The air was filled with the soft hum of high-tech gadgets and the clatter of keyboards from his assistants. Lost in the maze of reports and projections, he barely noticed the knock on his door.

Matthew: Come in.

he called, glancing up from his papers. The door creaked open, and Moris stepped in, his expression a mix of professionalism and urgency. He was impeccably dressed in a tailored suit, his hair neatly combed.

Moris: Sir, do you have a moment?

Moris asked, closing the door behind him.

Matthew: Of course, Moris. What’s on your mind?

Matthew leaned back in his chair, a sign of relaxation that belied his usually rigorous schedule. Moris walked over to the front of the desk and placed a folder carefully on the surface.

Moris: I wanted to discuss the upcoming project in Chicago. It’s a major deal.

Matthew’s eyebrows arched with interest.

Matthew: Chicago? I thought that was still in the preliminary phase.

Moris: It was, but the client just finalized the terms. It’s a six-day project involving the merger with a local tech firm, Proxima Innovations.

Moris explained, tapping the folder.

Moris: We’ll need to oversee the integration of their software with our systems, finalize the financial terms, and ensure a smooth transition.

Matthew’s gaze sharpened as he flipped through the folder’s contents.

Matthew: So, we’re not just observing this merger. We’re leading it.

Moris: Exactly, sir, The client expects us to provide hands-on support. We’ll be dealing with their executives directly and managing a team on the ground.

Matthew nodded thoughtfully.

Matthew: Who else will be on the team?

Moris: Henry and Lisa from the tech division, and Karen from finance, I’ll be there as well, handling coordination and logistics.

Matthew: And what about the current projects here? We can’t afford any slip-ups while we’re away.

Moris: I’ve arranged for coverage. The team will handle the day-to-day operations, and I’ll keep you updated.

Matthew considered this for a moment, then nodded decisively.

Matthew: Alright. Let’s finalize our travel arrangements and get everything set for the departure.

Moris offered a nod of approval.

Moris: I’ll get on it right away. We’ll make sure everything is in place before we head out.

Matthew extended a hand.

Matthew: Thanks, Moris. I trust you’ll handle this efficiently.

Moris shook his hand firmly

Moris: You can count on it, sir. I’ll see you in the morning for the briefing.

As Moris left the office, Matthew turned back to his desk, the reality of the upcoming challenge settling in.

*At Miller's Mansion*
*Late Night*

The opulent mansion had turned into a house of horrors. Andrew, his rage unabated, stormed through the marble halls, his fury manifesting in every step. David, his loyal but nervous secretary, followed behind, barely able to keep pace with Andrew’s relentless march. The staff stood gathered in the main hall, their faces a mixture of fear and dread.
