*back at the Event, after Olivia went missing*
The grand ballroom of the opulent event was filled with laughter and the clinking of glasses, a stark contrast to the tension that simmered beneath the surface.
Andrew's eyes were constantly scanning the room, searching for his daughter. He approached Daniel, his face a mask of concern and irritation.
Andrew: Daniel, where is Olivia? I haven't seen her for a while.
Daniel's expression remained neutral, though his eyes were alert.
Daniel: I've been looking for her, but there's no sign of her anywhere. I've asked around, and no one seems to have seen her in a while.
Andrew's frustration was evident.
Andrew: She's not answering her phone either. I've tried calling her, but her phone's switched off. This isn't like her.
Daniel nodded.
Daniel: I understand. I'll continue searching. We need to find her before this turns into a bigger issue.
As the evening wore on, the event's grandeur seemed to mock Andrew's growing anxiety. He was clearly agitated as he made his way toward the exit.
Andrew: We're leaving. I need to check the mansion. Maybe she's there. If she's gone out, she should have at least left a note or something.
Daniel followed closely, his concern hidden beneath a professional demeanor.
Daniel: I'll accompany you. If Olivia's at the mansion, we should find her quickly.
Upon arriving at the mansion, the atmosphere was eerily quiet. The grandeur of Andrew's residence seemed cold and unwelcoming in the absence of Olivia's presence. Andrew moved quickly through the rooms, checking every corner, but there was no sign of his daughter.
Andrew's frustration was mounting.
Andrew: She's not here. I don't understand where she could have gone. She wouldn't just disappear without telling anyone.
Daniel was methodical in his approach.
Daniel: I'll conduct a thorough search of the mansion and its grounds. If she's not here, we need to consider other possibilities....Could she have gone somewhere..t-to spend a nig-ht?
Andrew's face darkened.
Andrew: No, she would have left a clue or a message if that were the case.
Daniel's gaze was intense as he tried to piece together the puzzle.
Daniel: We should also check if there's been any sign of tampering or unauthorized access.
Andrew's agitation was palpable as he paced the room.
Andrew: If something has happened to her, I swear I'll make sure everyone involved pays dearly. This is unacceptable.
Daniel's voice was calm but firm.
Daniel: We need to keep our composure. If Olivia is missing, panicking won't help. We need to gather information and follow any leads we can find.
Andrew's frustration turned into a grim determination.
Andrew: You're right. We'll keep searching. If we can't find her here, we'll expand the search. I want every resource at our disposal to find her. I won't rest until she's back safe.
*At Gray's Mansion*
*The Next Morning*The first light of dawn crept into the room, casting a soft glow across the bed. Matthew's lips were gently brushing against Kate's face, leaving a trail of tender pecks. The sensation stirred Kate from her sleep, and she opened her eyes to find Matthew gazing at her with a loving smile.
