* Moris POV*

I was at my way to mall as said by Matthew, I was going to pick up ava first, the only  preety girl in my eyes, she was the first person to work with us when we started growing our empire more, and soon I fell In love with her. She was an orphan too.

Just like Matthew and me, me and Matthew grew up together, we became friends when we were 8, we used to play together, soon after years we turned 18, me and Matthew left the orphanage, I was very well known with Matthew's past and the vengeance he has, i was determined to be with him in whatever work, or path he will choose, but he was oppose to it, I still remember when we almost had a fight.

*Flashback*

Matthew: get away Moris, stop following me.

He said walking ahead of moris.

Moris: I can't we are friends right, best friends, brothers, you also agreed didn't you? And family stay together not apart from each other.

He said as he was following him,but in the end holding Matthew's hand he made him face himself.

Matthew: Moris, I. Said. Stop. Following. Me.

He said being angry and emphasizing each word.

Moris: NO I WILL NOT.

Matthew raised his hand to punch Moris, Moris coverd his face being sacred but didn't felt anything, when he uncovered his face he saw Matthew leaving.

Moris: WHY DONT YOU LET ME COME WITH YOU, YOU HATE ME NOW DON'T YOU, YOU DON'T CONSIDER ME AS YOUR BROTHER ANYMORE,DO YOU. *he said as his eyes were getting teary*

Matthew stopped on his tracks listening to him, he turned around and saw Moris walking towards him again.

Matthew: no Moris, it's not like that, I-I a-am s-scared...... I CAN'T LOOSE YOU, YOU ARE THE ONLY FAMILY I HAVE.  *he said as his voice was breaking and was on verge of crying*

Matthew: you know it's going to be hard Moris. I have to built my empire, and I have nothing, what if I can't save you?....Dont get into my revenge moris, the field I'm choosing is--

Cutting of Matthew's words Moris said.

Moris: please don't say this, let me be with you I can do anything for you dont think I'm weak, I'll help you building your empire, your identity, I will help you even being your servant......please Matthew.

After thinking for a while, he agreed but on a condition.

Matthew: I will agree only on one condition.

Moris: I'll do anything to be with you.

Matthew chuckled saying " just be safe"  smiling Moris hugged Matthew.

*Flashback end*
*Still Moris POV*

My train of thoughts broke when the driver said we reached. I saw Ava standing there near the gate waiting for me, as soon as she saw me she came at the backseat an settled beside me.

Ava: hi Moris
She is still cheerfull

Moris: hey Ava. *said while chuckling*

*end of Moris POV*
*time skip, at mall*

Moris and ava reached the mall and went on for shopping. After shopping the necessities they were going to cafe to have something.

Moris: this is so boring. *he said while carrying some bags*

Ava chuckled and said.

Ava: c'mon Moris I thought you would enjoy spending some time with me. *she said while showing sad face*

Moris: obviously I would enjoy, but not here it's so stupid. How are you not tired?

Ava: oh, look let's go there  *she said pointing at a store ignoring his words*

Inside the stall.

Moris: you like this?

Ava: hmm, its pretty, do you think I will look good in this?

Moris: you will look stunning.

Ava blushed when Moris mentioned that, and it didn't went unnoticed by him.

Moris: let's buy this, I'll pay.

Ava: no Moris, its Matthew's card. I can't use his card, without asking him.  *she said being shocked*

Moris: oh come on I am paying for that, now let's go.

*at Gray's secret Mansion*
*Kate's POV*

I was roaming inside the room here and there, thinking how should I escape this Mansion this man, I don't even know his name, what did that girl did with him, why he is keeping me captive, I know he is thinking me as her, well why not, but I can't reveal that to him, what if Father- No, no he wont know, he can't know that I slapped him, he will kill me, ugh everything is messed up.

My eyes got teary thinking about my aunty, how she would be doing I miss her, I can't even call her I dont even have any phone to start with, I can't jump, the balcony is too high, I can't run through door even If I have the courage to do so I can't, its locked.

Kate: why can't I have a normal life? what did i do to deserve this? I just want to die. if not for my promise which I made to mom and aunt, I would have died.

I looked at the time its 7 PM if I would be at home I would have just arrived by now visiting my mom's grave.

There was a knock on the door, whats the point on knocking its locked from outside anyway, there stood ava, she looked at me smilingly, carrying some bag in her hand.

Ava: I got you some clothes *she said being all cheerful*

how can she be so cheerful? at father's mansion ain't no worker was cheerful. Even if he left for work they were always scared and gloomy. Well father is indeed scary.

Ava: what's wrong miss kate? *she said breaking my train of thoughts*

Kate: why are you happy?

Ava: because I went shopping today, and i bought lots of clothes for you.  *she said giggling*

Kate: aren't you scared? Don't you wanna run away from here? why are you working here like a slave for someone?

I looked at her face and she seemed shocked.

Ava: what are you saying Kate? I'm not a slave here, sir always look after all of us. He makes sure that we are safe. You are misunderstanding Kate.

Kate: no I'm not, HE'S A MONSTER, h-he--he asked me to have a nig-g-ght w-with-h him-m, I-I s-slap-ped him t-thats wh-hy i-iam here.

Ava:  *thinking*  that's how she is isn't she, who likes to do clubbing, one nights and all...no? Was I having wrong perception?

Ava: you should be glad that you were not touched, and I was talking with you nicely thinking you were alone, stop acting all innocent when you are not, everyone here knows that what type of person you are.

She said while having a cold face, and spat all rudeness with harsh tone.

No I can't let her talk to me like this she is the only one who talks sweetly to me after my aunt, how will I make her trust me, that she is thinking wrong about me.

Kate: no please, i-i d-dint mean that, i-ignore t-that please, please dont be rude to me I'm not like wh-hat yo-ou all thin-n-nk. 

Ava: then what are you? A decent prostitute? Who decently spread her leg in front of men?  You are just like your father... and a daughter of a manwhore will. always. be. a. whore.

She went near the door after saying that, not before turning around and saying.

Ava: get freshened up, change your clothes, you are smelling, and don't think you will get food now, sir has ordered to provide you one meal at a time.

She left slamming the door shut not forgetting to lock it afterwards.
