Three weeks had gone by since Eddie had followed Marissa home. They still hadn't been able to find out any more information about her but it seemed like Logan was starting to relax his paranoia a bit at least.

Marissa had been enjoying her time working at the club. She and Joanie had become a dynamic duo of sorts which had started bringing in even more customers. So Logan, Fiona, and Eddie decided to make her full time every night, which Marissa was happy about because it meant that she could afford a better room with some privacy in the hostel.

It was the end of a rather long night when halfway on her walk home from work Marissa realized she'd left her phone in her locker so she turned back to go get it. Unfortunately, when she got there the doors were locked. If she'd had her phone she would have just called one of the guys to come let her in, but, you know, can't really call someone without a phone.

She decided to try the back door and while it was also locked, it was easy enough for her to pick it and let herself in. She quickly grabbed her phone and had just left the staff area when she heard voices. Worried about being found and getting in trouble for picking the lock, she quickly ducked behind the bar to hide.

Fiona and Eddie came in with a few other guys she didn't recognize, one of whom looked pretty beat up. Marissa watched from a small split between two of the bars as they threw the beaten man down onto the ground.

"You really shouldn't have done that Billy," Fiona said with a touch of wickedness to her voice. "Trying to skim off our supply and give it to our competitors is a big no no."

"I-I wasn't- I didn't mean-" the beaten man, Billy, stuttered out through bloody lips.

"Don't try to lie to us Billy," Eddie chimed in holding a pistol in his hand aimed at Billy. "We have proof. There's no point in denying it. All we want to know is if anyone helped you or if you were working alone. Or do I need to call our friend Knives in here?"

Billy paled in terror at the mention of that man. "N- no," he pleaded, "it was just me. Alonso sought me out cause he knew I had access. He promised me a lot of money if I did it and-and threatened to kill me if I didn't. I-I didn't have a choice!"

Billy was crying hard but neither Eddie nor Fiona were being swayed by it. "Oh Billy, you did have a choice," Fiona said with a feigned caring in her voice. "You could have told us from the beginning and we would have helped you deal with it. But instead you stole from us, and that simply can't stand can it Eddie?"

"No it can't," Eddie answered. There was a loud echoing bang as he pulled the trigger, shooting Billy in the head. Marissa panicked. She needed to get out of there fast. Just as she was about to make her getaway someone suddenly came into view beside her. Before she could react her body went tense with a surge of electricity ripping through it. Then, everything went black.
