Marissa and Fiona made their way down the rest of the river giggling and squealing with glee together as they went through multiple rapids and got splashed by a few more waves. As they reached the end, Fiona guided them over to a big bank that had a similar, though slightly larger, shack to the one at the head of the river where they'd started.

Together they pulled the raft onto the shore, put all their gear inside, and secured it so Jerry's guys could come retrieve it later. Once that was done Marissa grabbed Fiona and pulled her into a tight hug.

"That was absolutely incredible," Marissa said as her fingers traced light patterns up and down her back. "And the white water rafting was pretty amazing too," she added jokingly making Fiona laugh.

"I'm really glad you enjoyed it," Fiona said before placing a soft meaningful kiss on her lips. She understood what the guys meant about Marissa being perfect for them now. She really and truly was in every way and Fiona was beyond head over heels for her already.

As they pulled away from their kiss, Marissa caught Fiona's chin and looked deep into those beautiful brown eyes of hers as she whispered, "It was perfect, and so are you."

Fiona felt like her heart was going to explode as Marissa guided her head to rest on her shoulder and kept holding her close. Just then, a light evening breeze danced across their wet skin, making them both shiver.

"We should probably get changed," Fiona said, still not moving from her place in Marissa's arms. "It's getting late and we've got a bit of a drive back ahead of us. Wet clothes are not our friend right now." She let out a little giggle that just pulled on all of Marissa's heartstrings.

"I didn't bring a change of clothes," Marissa said, leaning back just enough to look at Fiona's face as a cheeky grin spread across her lips. "But you've already planned for that too haven't you my sweet babygirl?"

Fiona blushed and giggled again. She felt so little and precious whenever Marissa called her that. She usually hated it. She'd even forbid Logan and Eddie from ever calling her that long ago. Coming from Marissa, though, it felt nothing short of wonderful. She couldn't explain or understand why, it just did.

"I may have had Logan grab you a change of clothes for me to pack before he left your room this morning," Fiona said playfully with a grin.

"Good girl," Marissa said playfully in return before kissing her on the forehead. Another cold breeze cut through both of them. "Come on, let's get changed and dried off so we don't catch a cold out here."

They walked the, thankfully, short distance back to the car and Fiona pulled out the towels and dry clothes she'd packed for them. They each got changed into simple jeans, t-shirt, and sandals in the back of the car together. It took some maneuvering to do so, and they fell into each other laughing more than once in the process, but eventually they got sorted.

Fiona made sure they hadn't left anything behind before starting the car and heading for home. They chatted playfully as Fiona drove, enjoying the ride.

A little over halfway home, Marissa noticed Fiona was getting pretty tired. She suggested they stop at a gas station up ahead to grab some extra snacks for the road and offered to drive the rest of the way home. Fiona tried to protest, but Marissa insisted.

They pulled into the gas station and went inside to get some food. They strolled the aisles hand in hand looking at all the options before making their selections and heading for the cash register to pay. Marissa tried to pay but Fiona playfully shoved her way in front of her so she couldn't. Some simple road-trip snacks in hand, they went to the car. Marissa got in the driver seat and Fiona got in the passenger seat with all their snacks and then they continued the drive home.

It was probably not even five minutes after Marissa started driving that Fiona fell asleep in the passenger seat. Seems I really did wear her out back in the woods, Marissa thought as she chuckled softly to herself.

Sometime later Marissa parked the car in the garage while Fiona was still sound asleep in the passenger seat. She really didn't want to wake her but she also wasn't sure how else to get a sleeping Fiona inside.

As if summoned through some kind of magic, Logan just so happened to walk into the garage at that very moment. Marissa quickly motioned for him to be quiet so as to not wake Fiona.

"She's had a pretty exhausting day," Marissa whispered to Logan, motioning towards Fiona.

Logan smiled down at her knowingly as he whispered back, "And I'm guessing you played a major role in that exhaustion didn't you?"

Marissa shoved him playfully. "Of course I did," she whispered. "I may have kind of broken her brain and her body out in the woods."

Logan had to fight to hold back a laugh. "You're incredible, you know that?" He asked jovially while still keeping his voice quiet enough to not wake Fiona.

"I know," Marissa replied quietly before placing a quick kiss on his cheek. "Now can you carry her up to my room for me?"

"Of course," Logan whispered before going around to the passenger side of the car and carefully lifting Fiona up into his arms so he could carry her inside without waking her.

When Logan went to set Fiona down on Marissa's bed she stirred, her eyes opening slightly and focusing on Logan.

"L-Logan?" She mumbled half awake confused as to how she'd ended up with him. "Where's Marissa?"

The sad whine in her voice as Fiona asked for her made Marissa just melt. "I'm right here babygirl," Marissa said softly as she turned Fiona's head to face her. Fiona's eyes lit up when they landed on Marissa and she quickly crawled out of Logan's arms and into hers.

"Babygirl?" Logan whispered in a mildly confused disbelief. "I thought-" his words died in his mouth when Fiona shot him a stern look.

"She's the only one who can call me that got it?" Fiona said with a somewhat comical firmness in her only half awake state.

Logan held his hands up in playful surrender. "Got it, got it," he said as he backed out of the room. "Sweet dreams beautifuls."

"Goodnight, and thank you Logan," Marissa said sweetly as Logan left the room, closing the door behind him. She then turned to the already quickly fading Fiona in her arms. "I'm the only one who can call you babygirl huh?" Marissa said, making Fiona blush, "I like that. Come on, let's get you out of these clothes so you can get a good nights sleep, babygirl."

"Mmm but sleeping naked next to you is gonna make me horny," Fiona whined. Marissa wasn't used to seeing this side of her before. Seemed she'd dropped pretty far into her subspace from all the events of the day. She was so cute like this, Marissa couldn't get enough of her.

"I think we've had enough fun for one day," Marissa said as she undressed a barely awake Fiona, "if you want you can wear one of my sleep shirts."

"No, no," Fiona answered quickly, "I-I wanna be naked with you. I like it."

"Okay babygirl, we'll sleep naked together then," Marissa said sweetly.

With that Marissa had gotten the last bit of clothing off of Fiona and then she quickly undressed herself. As soon as she got back in the bed Fiona was in her arms and within seconds her breathing steadied as she fell fast asleep nestled against Marissa's chest. Marissa kissed the top of her head and soon she too was drifting off to a blissfully peaceful sleep.
