The next morning Marissa was fast asleep in Eddie's bed with both Logan and Eddie snuggled up against her when Fiona snuck into the room. It was quite late in the morning, but they'd stayed up late watching movies at Eddie's behest the night before so she wasn't surprised they were still soundly sleeping at this hour.
Being careful not to wake them just yet, she crawled into the bed and one by one she kissed each of them to wake them. First Logan, then Eddie, and as she went to kiss Marissa, Marissa's arms wrapped around her, pulling her close so she could deepen their kiss. Marissa's tongue entered Fiona's mouth as Fiona let out a quiet moan, her body instantly giving in to Marissa as she melted on top of her, never wanting the kiss to end.
Eventually Marissa released her hold on Fiona and smiled up at her. "Good morning beautiful," Marissa said with her lightly gruff morning voice Fiona had come to love so much, "to what do we owe this wonderful awakening from a true beauty like you?"
Fiona blushed hard and smiled down at her. "I just thought you'd like to know that your room is finally finished," Fiona answered making all three of them sit up in surprise. They'd all thought it was going to take another day because of an electrical issue, but Fiona had called in a few favors to get it taken care of sooner so it was finally finished. "I just put the finishing touches on it, wanna come see?"
"What do you think boys," Marissa said addressing the two still waking up men on either side of her, "ready to get up so we can all go see my new room?"
"Absolutely!" Eddie exclaimed in excitement. "I can't wait for you to see it and all the little extras we added in for you too."
"Extras huh?" Marissa said making Eddie blush and Fiona playfully whack Eddie on the arm.
"That was supposed to be a surprise," Fiona said to Eddie with a playful smile before turning to Marissa, "but since the cat's out of the bag, we did add some extra things for you as special gifts from each of us. When we found out it would need to take more time to finish the room anyway we figured why not put that time to good use. Logan was the one who first suggested it."
Marissa kissed Logan on the cheek and then said, "You're too wonderful, all of you are just too wonderful." She kissed them each and then went to get out of bed as she said, "Come on, now I really can't wait to see it."
The four of them made their way to Marissa's room and then Fiona dramatically opened the door wide for Marissa. It was even more beautiful than Marissa had imagined it. It was dark and sultry, yet still open and inviting in its own way. The bed Britney had made turned out absolutely gorgeous. The rose chandelier and sconces lit the room just right and were even more stunning here than they'd been in the store.
On the walls there were a handful of different paintings that matched the aesthetic of the room. The one Marissa was most drawn to though was the one hanging above her bed. It was a dark ethereal painting of four figures intertwined. The figures were flowing combinations of humans, vines, and smoke, making it feel like they were entranced in an eternal dance with each other. No clear distinction between where one ended and the next began, just four beings fully enwrapped in each other.
"Where did you find this painting?" Marissa asked in wonder as she walked towards it to study it further.
"The art is my big gift," Fiona said with a shy but bright smile. "All of the pieces are from local artist friends of mine. Except that one. That one's mine. I've been working on it for a few years now and when you described the kind of art you wanted in here I knew this was the perfect home for it."
"You painted this Fi? It's incredible," Marissa said starting to tear up a bit. She couldn't take her eyes off the painting as she followed every brushstroke, seeing Fiona in her minds eye painting each one.
