How Did They Get So Lucky?

On the way to breakfast Marissa had insisted on stopping by her room so she could put on some clothes. For simplicity's sake she'd just gone with one of Logan's t-shirts she'd claimed as her own, letting it hang loosely over her body. Trying to put on underwear was a whole thing, though, since Logan still refused to put her down. It took both Eddie and Fiona's help to get them on her. There was lots of wiggling and grunting and even a bit of flailing. By the time they were on all four of them were pretty much dying with laughter at how ridiculous it had been.

After mildly regaining their composure, Eddie went to grab the rest of them some clothes, coming back with sweatpants for himself and Logan and a simple sleep dress for Fiona. Eddie held Marissa while Logan put on his pants, and then handed her back so he could put on his own. Once they were all dressed they made their way to the meal Fiona had prepared for them.

Downstairs, Fiona pulled out everything she had cooked for them. Logan put Marissa down in one of the dining chairs at the table so he and Eddie could assist Fiona. She really had gone all out. There was probably enough food there to feed an army; biscuits, eggs, bacon, multiple kinds of sausages, multiple kinds of specialty waffles and pancakes, 2 different kinds of gravy, it just kept going and going til the entire dining table was nearly covered in food. Marissa certainly wasn't complaining though, by that point it had been nearly 24 hours since she'd eaten anything and she was definitely feeling it.

With all the food laid out, Logan sat on one side of Marissa, with Fiona taking the other, and Eddie sat at the head of the table by Fiona. Before Marissa could even begin to reach for the food the three of them were already loading up her plate with portions of everything. They knew she had to be hungry and were still doing everything they could to make this one of the best, most luxurious and pampered, days of her life. Marissa meant the world to them and they would do anything for her, they were making that more than clear.

Marissa dug into all of the food, moans and groans of delicious happiness pouring from her completely unhindered as she did. It was all incredible. She was even surprised as she bit into one of the biscuits and it tasted exactly like the ones she makes herself.

"You figured out my secret family recipe," Marissa said to Fiona while giving her a teasing side eye.

Fiona just smirked back at her. "I told you I'd figure it out one day," she replied. "How'd I do?"

"They're perfect," Marissa said with a smile before pulling Fiona close and placing a soft kiss on her cheek. They really were perfect, almost as perfect as the three people surrounding her in so much loving care.

The four of them chatted happily as they all enjoyed their food. Marissa was pretty sure she ate more then than she'd usually eat in a week, but she didn't care. Her body needed as much energy and nutrients as it could get to recover from all she went through yesterday, and, truth be told, what they'd done that morning too.

Eventually, Logan and Eddie started cleaning everything up and putting away the leftovers while Fiona cuddled up against Marissa, making sure she didn't try to get up and help with anything. Logan was putting the last dish in the fridge when his phone rang.

"One second my loves, it's Phillip," Logan said as he stepped away to take the call. Not long after he came back with a slightly confused look on his face. "So Phillip is here cause he says we need to talk and apparently Joanie is with him and has been bugging him to let her come see Marissa all night long." His eyes landed on Marissa as he then asked, "Are you feeling up for seeing them and dealing with some stuff? Cause I will gladly tell them to fuck off til later if you're not."

Marissa smiled at him and laughed at his offer to tell them to fuck off. "It's alright," she said, "I'd be happy to see them and we should probably deal with whatever we need to deal with."
