The kiss was not french , just simple and gentle one . His right hand was in my hair and I can feel his gloved left hand drawing circles on my hand . He pulled away and I did not open my eyes . " good night !" I heard him whisper and I did not dare to open my eyes or I will end up kissing him again . I let out a deep breath then opened my eyes a little bit but he was no where to be seen . A smile spread on my face while I walked to the house . I did not want to sleep so I made myself a cup of tea and went to the stable . It was almost 6 in the morning . I took a sip of my tea then put my hand on the horse's nose remembering the events of last night , from an hour in deed .
" what are you doing up this early ?" Someone said and I was taken back . I turned to see it's only Lucas . " you frightened me " I said letting out a deep breath which caused him to chuckle . " well , you still didn't answer me ,why are you awake this early ?" He asked and I was not sure , should I tell him or not . " well , I was in a date , and I just came back a short while ago " I said and he smirked asking " with who ?" . " Sam , the mayor's son . Remember him ? " I answered him biting my lip and he looked annoyed for a while then he grinned . " I don't trust him but well , what happened ?" He asked me and it was clear that he was excited . " I will tell you but please promise me that you will never tell anyone " . " I promise ! " he said and I took a deep breath ready to tell him about everything .

" but why did he asked you to keep it a secret ?" Asked Lucas . We were now setting on the floor in the stable and I already told him everything about Sam and I . " he told me that it might cause problems since his father is the mayor and all " I explained softly then I remembered something else . " hey , did you see Mary with him the party night ?" I asked him frowning . " yes I did , I saw him kissing her on her cheek " he said rolling her eyes .  " she does not remember him at all , although she was not drunk to that limit ! I told her that I saw her talking to him but she denied . She also forgot what she told me about being blonde " I told him and he clinched his jaw , like he is challenging himself or proving something to someone . " hey ! Why are you here today ?" I asked him and he smiled . " I came to see Mary but didn't find her " he explained . " Why do not you ask her out ? I mean , you two like each other which is very visible " I suggested with a smile . " you don't get it , she is hanging with someone else " Lucas told me and I frowned " no , you are wrong !" I told him sure of my answer . " and you are blind " he said angrily and I was taken back . " I do not know why you are angry and what did I do wrong ! " I yelled at him walking away and when I was about to get out he spoke again " i'm sorry , you are my only friend and I don't want you to get hurt " . I turned to him frowning " what do you mean ?" . " look, I have this feeling .." he started then pause to sigh and continued " just take care with that Sam guy " with that he left me standing in the stable confused as hell . What is his problem ? I walked back to the house and set on the living room . I did not get any minute of sleep because of Sam . Why did he always talk to me at the night ? Then I had this scary thought . we always meet in the dark , Mary do not remember him , He is so hot . Does that sound familiar ? Maybe he is a Vampire ! But they are not real . While I was thinking I heard the front door opened . I ran to the front door frowning , who will come now ? It's 9 AM or something ! When I got there I saw Mary . " what are you doing out till now ?" I asked her and she answered immediately " the corral , checking on the corral " then I remembered what Lucas has told me earlier , he came to see Mary but did not find her . She is lying ! " and why are you awake till now ?" She asked . " well , checking on the stable " I said eyeing her from her head to toe and turned to go to my room . Every time I try to give her a chance , she proves to me that she is not worthy . I entered my room and threw myself on the bed . I heard my room's door opened and I did not open my eyes because I know she is Mary . " I really wanna tell you something but I can't " she said and I opened my eyes looking at her . " what do you mean ?" I asked her acting like I do not know about the guy she is dating and she answered me saying " I really can't tell you " . " why ?" I know I did not tell her about Sam but it's all because I do not want to cause him problems . " you won't understand , I trust you but I can't tell you . I will tell you everything only if I could " with that she got out of the room . Why do everyone happen to leave me confused as hell ! I mentally roll my eyes and forgot about her . All I was thinking about was Sam . I do not think i will be able to go to work so i will just call Lu and tell him i'm not coming .

" wake up lazy !" My grandma's voice woke me up . " what ?" I said putting the pillow on my head . " i'm not gonna eat breakfast alone ! " she stated and I glanced at the clock on the wall . It's 11 o'clock ! " i have only slept for 2 hours !" I said groaning . " go and wake Mary instead of me , I promise I will have breakfast with you tomorrow " I said and mentally smiled . I heard a sigh then footsteps . " well , that means I will have to take her to the mayor's house instead of you " my grandma said and I jumped of the bed " what ? When are you going and why ?" I asked and she smirked . " me and the mayor are great friends my dear , we will discuss ..." my grandma said and I did not pay attention to what she was saying . " when ?" I asked and cut her off . She rolled her eyes saying " get ready because we will leave after an hour " . I ran to Mary's room and screamed her name . " Mary wake up ! Wake up " . " get the hell out of my room " she yelled but i did not go out . " please , I will meet this boy I told you I like and I want to look good , I want a girl's help . I will ..." I stated but she cut me off by screaming " a boy !" . " yeah ! C'mon " I said pulling her from her hand to my room . She opened the closet then turned to me with a smirk . " I have an idea !"
minutes later ....
" can I look now ? " I asked Mary . She was giving me a new look and I could not see it because I was giving my back to the mirror . " not yet , go put these on " she replied giving me a floral dress and a blazer . I put them on and returned to her . She grinned and clapped her hands . " ready ?" She asked and I nodded as agree . She opened the closet to expose a hanged mirror . I stared at my reflection on the mirror . I frowned but it was not long till i replaced the frown with a smile . " you curled my hair !"
