We didn't speak much about the MaShezi situation. We just tried to spend the rest of the night with our boys. The next morning I got up at five. The boys were up so I got them ready and told Baba I was leaving with them. I had Xolani on my back and Jabulani on my hip. He refused to walk this morning.
The ladies were already up and heating water for tea. "Iyoh! And then, Jabu?" His grandmother asked taking him from me. "The two of you are going to break your mother's back." I was given the task of making pap. While the others made tea and heated the left overs. By the time we dished up MaShezi came out of the house. "Good morning. Can I help with anything?" Everyone just glared at her. "We're done with everything you'll do the dishes when we're done eating." Ma said coldly.
We dished up just as Baba joined us. I served him his food and the boys and I joined him. Jabu was in a much better mood so he was laughing and dancing and singing while I tried feeding him. Xolani was giggling to his hearts content at his brothers antics. One of the cousins took pictures and videos of us and I loved it so much that I posted them. I didn't care about anything going on online I just wanted to share that special moment. I vlogged the rest of the day and went home completely exhausted.
"Baby, we need to go into town tomorrow and get your mother and sisters gifts. They really helped us a lot." I agreed. We went to town the next day and went shopping for groceries and gifts. I couldn't help but shop for the boys and Mbali too. Baba took me to a jewelry store and I picked out a diamond necklace. He said it was my push present.
I was getting Xolani's bag packed to go to dinner. We were having dinner at my families house. Everyone was still home because they came to the ceremony so I was in for a busy night. Dinner went smoothly. After dinner we split into our usual groups. The men my brothers, brother-in-law, and father went outside and all the ladies stayed inside.
"Litha, what the hell was that?" Nthombifuti asked. "Futhi, watch your mouth."
"Sorry, Ma. But really now. What was she doing? And that huge dress. What was she thinking?" I just sighed and just shrugged. "We thought things were finally going better but then she pulled that nonsense. I don't even have the energy to think about it. It happened and there's nothing I can do about it. Social media is going crazy once again. I had to turn off the notifications on all my apps. It was so embarrassing, Ma.""Don't worry about that woman my child. The only person she's embarrassing is herself." I just sighed. "I really thought we were on the right path. She played me. She played all of us. She's only doing this to get back in the families good books so Baba can take her sister as a third wife." My sister's were all shocked. "Litha, are you joking?" I just shook my head. "No, she admitted it to my face. If I could trust her it wouldn't be an issue but that woman is trying to make my life a living hell. She almost succeeded in turning everyone against me with Xolani's ceremony." We spoke some more and made tea. We had such a good time at my parents house it was almost midnight when we got home.
"Baba, I'm tired." He chuckled. "Me too. I'm not expecting anything from you. It's late. Let's sleep." I just shook my head. "That's not what I mean. I'm tired of this situation with MaShezi." He sighed and put his bedside lamp back on. "I know." I didn't know how to bring it up so I just took a deep breath and said it. "Maybe we should meet with her sister." He sighed again. "I'm not comfortable with this and you know it."
"Baba I can't do this anymore. I can't."
"Baby I know how you feel but you'll just be inviting more chaos into our lives. We can discuss this more tomorrow. Let's sleep."I didn't sleep much. Xolani kept me up all night. I was extremely tired that morning too. Baba had to go to the site for a couple of hours and I had a bunch of laundry and two fussy boys to deal with. I wanted to ask my sister to come help me but I knew how it would look so I struggled through the first half of the day. Luckily baba came home by lunch time. I was so exhausted I didn't even eat the food he brought home.
"Baby. " I felt a kiss on my cheek. "Wake up my love." I woke up to a bunch on roses and a plate of food. I couldn't help but smile. "Baba..." He had a big smile on his face. "Xolani took his bottle." He said excitedly. "And both boys just went down for a nap." I was over the moon. "Thank you Baba. Will you join me." We ate together and had some fun afterwards.
"Baba, we can't keep avoiding the topic." He sighed. "Baby, we just had some of the best sex of my life. Can we please, just for today not speak about that." I just nodded. "Okay, Baba but please let this not be a way to avoid this issue." He nodded and started kissing me again. We sunk into the bed and I moaned as he thrust into me slowly.
"Mm." I felt him twitch inside of me as I moaned. "That's one of my favourite sounds on earth." I chuckled and he started thrusting in and out of me slowly. I could barely keep my voice down. I could feel both of us were close. "Ah. Baba. I love you." He kissed me as her continued thrusting inside of me. "I love you more." I was so close. It felt like I would explode.
"Mama!" Bang. Bang. Bang. "Mama! Xolani's eyes are open." We froze hearing Jabu's voice. "Mama!" Baba groaned. "Jabu, go play in Xolani's room. I'll be there soon." He said. "No! Want Mama!"
"Jabu, Mama is busy. Go play with Xolani."
"No!"
"If you go play with Xolani for a little bit Mama will make you some chicken." There was silence at the door. "Okay!" He said and we could hear him running away.Baba waisted no time. He started thrust hard inside of me this time. I couldn't take it. My whole body shook and I let out a loud moan as I squirted all over him. He gave one last big thrust that made me let out a loud scream. I saw stars in my vision.
"Mama!" We heard crying at the door. "Mama! Mama! Mama!" Jabu cried. We didn't know what to do. We were both completely naked and we just made a huge mess. Baba got up and threw the blanket over me. Jabu was crying and banging on the door while he put on a sleep shorts. He let the little boy in. He tried comforting him but nothing worked until I held him. "Yoh, Jabu. Timing baby. Timing. Baba can you get his bottle please." I comforted him until he settled. Xolani was up to and he wanted me. Jabu went with his dad and I breastfed Xolani. The whole house was just in chaos and the boys would not leave us alone to get dressed and cleaned up.
"Baba, I think he's calm now. Here." I tried handing Xolani over to his father but he started screaming. "It's okay. Give him to me and you go take a quick shower." I did as he said. When I was done the boys were in a good mood again. I changed out sheets and cleaned up as much as possible then it was my turn with the boys. Having two babies so young and being newlyweds was crazy sometimes.
I made Jabu Junior's chicken because through all the chaos he remembered that his father promised him chicken. "Baby, my mother says you must come to the homestead tomorrow after lunch. I don't know why. Keep your phone on you and text me the number one if anyone tries anything."
"Yebo, baba."The next I made my way to the homestead. Jabu went into town with his father so I had Xolani with me. "Makoti come in." I took my shoes off and went into the main house. Gogo, MaMthembu, and MaMchunu were there. I served tea and then sat on my grass mat.
"Makoti, you're here because we're facing a problem." I was instantly worried. "It's a problem that's easily solvable. Don't worry about it. In fact we are going to have a lot of fun."
"Fun?" All three of them had a summer smile on their faces. "Do you remember months ago when your sister and her husband were introduced to the family?" I nodded. "Yebo, Ma." Her smile grew. "Well, she was convinced half of your husband's assets belong to his brother because he must've inherited it. Little does she know all we inherited was my husband's debt. That's not the point. She's been adamant. Her husband even had to stop her from filing a lawsuit."What? That bitch was going to get on my nerves.
"So, with Gogo's permission we want to play a little game with her but only if you agree." My interest was peeked. "What kind of game?" Ma smiled. "I must say the idea isn't mine. It's something MaShezi said months ago. We'll invite her to stay a month on the homestead and do her Makoti duties. In return we offer her half of the assets. As soon as the month is up I'll show her what Bab'Dlomo really left for his sons."
"Ma." I said in disbelief. "You know she's going to go crazy right?" MaMchunu just sighed."That's fine with me. She's been driving my son crazy for years while sucking him dry with her mother's help."
