Rose was soon discharged from the hospital and had to go back with her foster family. The social worker stood there looking very noticeably annoyed. George was hugging Rose tightly as they wouldn't be able to see each other for at least a couple of days.

"I don't wanna go!" Rose sobbed, clinging to him tightly.

George was crying as well.

"I know, baby. It won't be for very long. I promise it'll be okay." He assured her.

"We have to go." The social worker stated.

Sapnap, Karl, and I all gave her an irritated glare.

They won't see each other for days. Let them have their fucking time.

The social worker pulled Rose from George's arms. Rose screamed and cried as she was put in the car. George covered his hand with his mouth and turned away from us as his shoulders shook. Karl went over and hugged him as George wouldn't let Sap and I touch him.

"It's okay, George. Like you said, only a couple of days." Karl said softly.

George nodded and pulled away from the hug. He wiped his eyes and we went to my car. Sapnap got in the passenger seat. Karl and George got in the back. The car ride home was almost entirely silent. We soon arrived, and we all got out. George grabbed Karl's hand tightly. I noticed Sapnap seemed a little jealous, but he didn't say anything. George was looking at our house in awe.

"Do you like it?" I asked.

He smiled a bit and nodded.

"It's really pretty." He told me quietly.

We went inside, and he seemed even more amazed. He leaned over to Karl and whispered something. He seemed nervous as he squeezed Karl's hand and shifted his body. Karl smiled and nodded in response to whatever George had said.

"I'm gonna take him upstairs so he can get cleaned up." Karl told us.

Sap, and I nodded.

"Um, all of my things are still at my old house. I didn't have time to move everything out." George said quietly.

"That's okay. We can either replace everything or we can go get it later. Whatever you want. I understand it might be triggering to go back there." I told him.

He shook his head.

"No, I'll be fine. I don't want you guys to replace everything. It would be at least five hundred dollars." He stated.

"George, do you forget who we are? Five hundred is nothing." Karl giggled.

George seemed a little stunned. Karl laughed again and pulled him upstairs.

"I feel so bad for him." I mumbled, walking over to sit on the couch.

Sap followed me. We both sat down.

"I do, too. I couldn't imagine having to go that long without somebody who's been there every day. I think they both have really bad separation anxiety. It's sad. She's so young." He said.

"George is twenty-one, and she's four. That means she was born when he was seventeen. I wonder what's up with that. I wanna ask, but I don't think he would tell me. He only really talks about important shit like that with Karl." I explained.

Sap nodded.

"I get that. Especially if his ex-boyfriend was really awful to him. We're both bigger guys, so it doesn't surpise me if he only feels comfortable around Karl. I looked up his ex boyfriends mugshot and found his social media stuff. He worked out a lot. He was huge." Sap told me.
