(not proof read, at least not yet it's just really late and I'm really tired right now)

it's been a few months since my mom has been gone. me and Michael made up, and we are all one big happy unrelated family again.

things have been rough. I live with Michael now. I sold our house and moved out.

I'm still not completely put back together but I'm getting there. everyone's been helping a lot.

at least I don't have to worry about Jessica anymore now that schools out and graduation is over. yep, I graduated. I'm 18 now. on my own man, it's scary, but it's a privilege.

this is just kind of an update on my life so far. not much has happened, but it's still something.

"Luke I thought I told you that you can't just come in here whenever you want and eat all our food!" I whined.

"it's a free country." he said with a mouthful of cereal.

"disgusting." I mumbled to myself.

"when's Ali going to get here didn't she say she would be here like half an hour ago?" me, Michael, Luke, and Ali were all going to lunch and then shopping. yes we do go shopping a lot. it doesn't hurt though. it gets my mind off things.

"yeah..I don't really know where she is." Luke replied.

"why didn't she come with you?"

"she wasn't ready." he stated simply.

"I'll call her." I grabbed my phone and dialed her number.

when she answered I didn't give her time to talk, "Ali where are you?"

"I'm on my way, traffics bad."

"well we'll just meet you at the restaurant." I demanded.

"no I'm already almost the-" I cut her off by hanging up. whoops.

"we're gonna meet her there." I smiled at Luke and Michael.

we got into Luke's car with him and Michael in the front, Luke driving of course and me alone in the back.

"thanks for leaving me alone." I scoffed.

"well it would be weird if you sat up front with me and Michael sat alone and I'm not going to let Michael sit back there with you because then I'll feel like a chauffeur. so you're sitting in the back alone and you better stop complaining." Luke snapped at me.

"asshole." I whispered.

"what was that?" Luke raised his eyebrows at me in the rear view mirror. I just shook my head and scoffed.

"that's what I thought." he said sassily.

"oh shut up." I laughed.

"never."

"Michael make him shut up." I ordered.

"Luke shut up." he retorted.

"well.." Luke said trailing off.

the rest of the car ride was silent.

when we finally got to the restaurant we saw Ali's car already parked in the front row.

"if she was in traffic how did she get here before us?" I questioned.

"she knows a short cut to this place." Luke said.

"oh." I replied nodding it all making sense now.

we walked in and saw Ali sitting at a table for 4 and walked over to it to sit down.
