I was woken up by the feeling of a sharp pain in my lower abdomen.

Cramps.

Wonderful.

I stood up quickly running into the bathroom. Everyone else was still asleep.

I looked down in the toilet and groaned. Shit.

What am I going to do? Maybe Ali has something. I'll feel bad for waking her up though.. oh well this is an emergency.

I walked downstairs carefully trying not to wake anyone. I tapped on Ali's arm.

"Ali," I whispered.

She groaned and turned to her side, closer to Luke.

"What!?" she hissed.

"I need a tampon," I said trying to be quiet. Apparently not as quiet as I wanted because Luke woke up.

"Will you shut the fuck up? I'm trying to sleep," he groaned annoyed.

I just rolled my eyes at him and asked Ali again.

"Ali. Do you have a tampon?" I said kinda annoyed.

"Yes, in my purse by the door."

"Thank you. You're a life saver."

"Shut the hell up!" Luke yelled at us again. I rolled my eyes once more and got the tampon and ran upstairs to the bathroom.

I'm in so much pain. I need meds. I searched Luke's medicine cabinet for some Ibuprofen until I finally found some.

I walked downstairs to the kitchen to get a glass of water.

"Hey," a voice said making me jump. I turned around to find Michael walking into the kitchen looking really fucking adorable.

His red hair was even messier then it usually is, the sweat pants and t-shirt he borrowed from Luke were wrinkled, and he was rubbing his eyes.

He looked like a little baby.

"Hey," I said walking over to him.

"You sleep well?" he asked with care.

"Yep except for the surprise I got this morning," I rolled my eyes.

"What surprise?" he laughed in a confused manner.

"Well, let's just say mother nature decided to pay me an early visit," I said in a whisper tone, being a little embarrassed.

He stared at me baffled until it finally clicked, "Ohhh. That sucks, but I mean I don't really know for sure if it sucks because... well I'm a dude-" I cut him off to save him from further embarrassment.

"Let me tell you. It does suck, Michael," I laughed.

"Okay thanks for stopping me from making this the worlds most awkward conversation," he grinned and looked down at his feet. All I could think about was his conversation with Luke in the car.

"No problem, Mikey," I smiled.

After I said that Ali and Luke walked into the kitchen, cutting our conversation short.

"Thanks for waking me up this morning, Becca," Luke scoffed and laughed at the end.

"Hey, I was having difficulties."

"Yes I know, I heard the conversation." he chuckled.

"Then why were you telling us to shut up?" I intensified my glare at him.

"Because I was tired. I wanted you guys to shut up."

"Whatever, you jerk," I said jokingly.

Michael gently grabbed my arm and pulled me aside to talk to me.

"Hey do you want to hang out today? Just the two of us?" he smiled. He was so cute. I got butterflies just from being in the same room as him. I feel so childish.

"Sure," I replied happily, "I'll have to text my mom and ask but she should say yes unless something comes up."

I pulled out my phone to text my mom.

To Mom- hey can I spend the day with Michael?

I did feel bad about leaving her alone all the time but my dads back from his business trip today, so she has him to keep her company.

My phone buzzed and I unlocked it knowing it was my mom.

From Mom- sure sweetie.

I went and told Michael what my mom said.

"She said sure," my answer made him smile.

"Okay, well do you wanna go now?" he asked.

"Yeah sur-" I was cut off by Luke.

"I don't know where you guys are talking about going, but you can't go. There's a huge ass storm coming in and they are closing all the roads in town due to lightening and harsh winds that we'll be experiencing. They're thinking it might even be a tornado."

"What?" I asked confused.

"I said-" Luke started.

"No no, I heard you."

"We could be stuck here for a while," Luke stated.

"Do I have time to go get feminine care products from the store before the storm hits?" I asked desperately but laughed at my vocabulary.

"You've got like," he paused to look at his phone,"20 minutes before the storms supposed to hit," Luke replied.

"Okay.. I got this... Ali come with me."

"Ugh, fine," she says annoyed.

Michael stopped us, "Wait," he looked me in the eyes, "be careful," my heart fluttered at his caring tone. I smiled and nodded and we ran out the door in a hurry and drove to the store.

We got back in enough time before the storm hit. They said on the news that it could cause a lot of damage. I just love California. Don't you? Hint the sarcasm.

*30 minutes later*

The power was already out and we were only 30 minutes into the storm.

No wifi. No lights. No nothing. Just candles and our existence.

We decided it would be more fun to play a game. So we played truth or dare, but with a twist. If we didn't want to do that dare or answer the truth we had to take a shot of vodka.

I decided to text my mom while I was still sober to tell her that I was okay and that I was still at Ali's which was a lie, but oh well. What she doesn't know won't hurt her.

(a/n- This is random info but Ali, Ashton, Luke, and Becca are 18 and seniors and Michael and Calum are 19 (ik it's old i'll explain later) and seniors too. well they will all be seniors when summers over and they go back to school.)

After the game was over we were all pretty drunk. We decided to play a different game. The sleeping game. It's a game where you sleep. Sounds fun right? Yeah we just went to sleep because we were exhausted.

Michael and I were cuddling next to each other and his arm was around my waist.

I loved this feeling.

****
