"your mine now." the deep mysterious voice demanded. I screamed and I pleaded nothing was enough. I could barely choke out a help.
I woke up sweaty and out of breath. I tried to catch my breath.
"hey, what's wrong?" Calum wrapped his arms around me making me jump and I began to tear up.
"shh.." he started rubbing my back slowly.
"I had a nightmare. I've had this nightmare before but it has been years ago. I thought it was over but it happened again." I sobbed into his chest.
"it's okay Becca." he said still rubbing my back comforting me.
"what was it about?" he asking cautiously.
"I don't want to talk about it." he nodded in response and pulled me back into a hug.
my sobs were muffled and I could smell his scent on his shirt.
"Calum..?"
"yeah?"
"I need to tell you something and I don't know why, but I trust you the most." he gave me a 'go on' look and I told him.
"me and Michael are in a fight, I know it's a stupid thing to not tell anyone but not to long before you got here, he left," I looked down and twiddled with my fingers a little before I continued, "he told me that his house had been fixed for almost 2 months, and he never told me. did you know about it?" I questioned.
"well..yeah," I looked up at him with shock, "but I thought you did too." he spilled out.
"I didn't." I sighed and looked back down.
"my mom should be home by now?" I asked confused.
"did she come in last night?"
"I don't know, I was dead asleep." Calum admitted.
"hey I think I hear your phone ringing?" Calum pointed out.
I walked over to my purse and looked at the caller ID on my phone and it was unknown.
I answered it slowly.
"hello?"
"hello.. is this Becca Robertson?" a young lady's voice said through the phone.
"yes..?" I said more as a question.
"I'm afraid your mother has been in a terrible car accident."

~"my mom should be home by now?" Becca asked, confusion written all over he face.
"did she come in last night?"
"I don't know, I was dead asleep." I shrugged.
"hey I think I hear your phone ringing?" I pointed out.
she walked over to her purse and gradually answered the phone.
"hello?" I heard her say.
"yes..?"
her jaw dropped and I saw tears begin to form in her eyes. I ran over to her to see what was wrong.
"Becca? what's wrong?"
she didn't say anything and just listened to the other voice.

"she's at the California Regional Hospital getting ready to enter surgery." I put the phone down to my chest to muffle my question to Calum.
