Another couple of days went by and Sam hadn't seen Ava since that very night. He hoped that Daniel didn't do anything bad to her if his bodyguard truly did see them that night.
As he continued to be in his train of thoughts, while resting in bed, he was interrupted by a knock on his door. He slowly got up and went to the door, opening it and seeing Elijah Hollands standing there.
"Worpa! There you are. What's going on man?" Elijah said, walking in when Sam let him.
"Nothing much man. Just chilling" Sam said, sitting on the couch.
"You've been weird lately. The boys and myself noticed this. What's going on? The Sammy Walsh we know is a bubbly, funny and crazy guy" Elijah spoke, trying to get to the bottom of what is happening to his teammate and best mate.
Sam sighed, putting his head back before sitting up straight and looking at Elijah. "I met a girl on here".
"Fuck! That explains a lot" Elijah chuckled. "Who's this girl?".
"Just another passenger on this cruise. Met a little while ago" he shortly explained to Elijah.
"So what's stopping you from asking her out or for a drink?" Elijah asked, trying to understand Sam.
"Her fiancé" Sam answered.
Elijah froze for a few moments before shaking his head, "excuse me? She's engaged?".
"Yeah but not by her choice" Sam said, standing up and walked around.
"This is really bothering you. Fuck! I've never seen superstar Sammy Walsh like this before" Elijah said, standing up. "The Sam Walsh I know is a determined person, courageous and humble".
"She's in a bad place and relationship. She's asked her brothers for help but they are yet to come and help. I want to help her" he said, sighing.
"What's stopping you then?" Elijah asked.
"My footy career man. We've got eyes on us at every corner. People on here would be taking photos and post it on social media. Then next thing you know, it'll be all over the news and the club coming for my head" he explained.
"Oh I know about that. Trust me" Elijah said, looking at his mate.
Sam understood and sighed, sitting back down on the couch. He looked up at Elijah as he stood up.
"Get it done Worpa" Elijah said, patting his mate on the shoulder, then left the room.

Ava was finally allowed out of the room and reunited with her friends again. They were at the poolside, drinking cocktails and enjoying the hot weather and sunshine.
"What a beautiful day" Aria said, letting out a nice sigh.
"I agree. Finally getting some vitamin D" Freya joked, laughing at herself.
Ava drank her pina colada, looking around. "I have to tell you girls something but please don't say anything to anyone. Especially Daniel or my parents".
The three other girls sat up, looking at their friend. "Well? Come on" Freya said, becoming impatient.
"I met a guy on the cruise" Ava confessed.
The three girls became shocked and all three of them got onto their knees in front of Ava.
"Tell us more!" Aria said, getting closer.
"Actually, you girls won't believe me but his name is Sam Walsh" she said, looking at each of her friends reactions.
"Good joke. Seriously though, what's his name?" Sophie asked, not believing Ava.
"I'm not joking Sophie. I'm being serious" Ava assured her friends.
"Wait! You are serious! Holy crap!" Sophie got excited, looking at the other girls.
"I mean, nothing serious has happened but... I think I have feelings for him" Ava confessed.
The three other girls got so excited that they cheered amongst themselves. Ava chuckled, when she looked up and saw Sam coming out of the doors with his mates.
"Oh my god, there he is" Ava said, making the girls all look at him and the other boys.
Sam looked around, laughing and smiling with his mates when he suddenly saw Ava and her friends looking at them. Sam took his friends to an area that was across the girls, wanting his mates to see these girls too. He looked at Ava, admiring her smile and happiness that she had with her friends.
Freya, Aria and Sophie giggled, which got Matt Owies, Elijah Hollands and Jesse Motlop's attentions. The boys looking at the girls and smiling at them. Ava found this opportunity to get up and pretend to go to the bathroom, knowing Sam would come behind her and sure enough, there he was, walking in behind her.
"What are you up too?" Sam asked, approaching her.
"I'm trying to get those girls and your boys to get together" Ava chuckled, looking at her friends approach the boys and talk with them. "It's working".
Sam looked out the window and smirked, "smart idea".
Ava looked at Sam, admiring his good looks and his athleticism. She quickly turned her head away as Sam turned to look at her.
"I'm gonna help you Ava. You can tell me no over and over again but I'm going to do it" he said, showing her how serious he was.
"But your career" Ava said, shocked to hear this from Sam.
"My career will be fine" he assured her.
Ava looked into his eyes, slowly and gently putting her soft hands on his cheek. "You're doing all this for a girl you have only known for a few weeks".
Sam softly smirked, getting closer to her. "You were the girl that had my heart beating from the moment I saw you. If that's not worth fighting for, then I don't know what is".
"I don't want you to get hurt" she said as she felt his arms go onto her waist.
"I always get hurt on the footy field. Nothing happens to me" he assured her, slowly and slowly getting closer to her.
They looked into each other's eyes for a short moment before finally locking lips and having their first kiss ever! Sam moved his head slightly away to look at her, seeing the small smile on her face gave him relief.
"You are such a special guy, Sam Walsh" Ava said in a soft voice, before kissing him on the lips again but this time more passionate.
As the two of them shared their kiss, the girls spoke with the boys but not long after, Freya noticed Daniel's bodyguard coming out to the poolside.
"Fuck!" She said loudly before getting up and rushing to the hall of the bathroom. Not knowing what was happening, Freya burst it and saw Sam and Ava kissing. "Oh.. hello".
Ava and Sam immediately pulled away from each other, making Ava blush.
"Sorry to disturb you both but Daniel's bodyguard is coming and I don't think you'd want him to catch you both here" Freya informed them.
Ava sighed sadly, looking at Sam. "See you around" she said as she left with Freya.
Sam stayed back, looking out the window as she grabbed her belongings. He watched Daniel's bodyguard approach her and say something, which made her rush off.
