(Ava Seed)
The next morning, Ava was woken up by the sun in her eyes. She slowly opened her eyes and looked at Sam fast asleep beside her. This made her remember what happened last night, having slept with Sam Walsh. She slowly got up, covering her naked body with the blanket while she gathered her clothes. Ava got dressed, before bending down and kissing Sam on the cheek then leaving his room and going to her siblings.
Jacob and John were sitting at the restaurant having coffee and breakfast, so Ava decided it was best to join them.
"Good morning" Ava greeted them, sitting at the table.
"Good morning to you too. Where were you last night?" John asked, drinking his coffee.
"I umm.. I was with Sam last night" she replied, blushing slightly.
John and Jacob looked at each other, smirking and shaking their heads.
"You must really like him?" John asked.
Ava nodded her head then remembered that he was going to be leaving in a few hours. "But I'm afraid" she said softly, looking down at her hands.
"Afraid of what? Daniel?" Jacob asked.
"N-no. Last night was so special for me. Especially being in the arms of the man I truly have feelings for but he is leaving with his coach and captain today" Ava informed her brothers. "Being a famous football player, he has to keep his career and character intact".
John put the newspaper down and put his hand on hers, "it's hard and I get it. I can see how much you love him".
Ava looked up at her brother with teary eyes, "he promised that when we dock in Melbourne, he'll be there waiting for me but I'm afraid that I'll never get to see him again".
"If he promised that what is making you fear that it won't happen?" John asked.
"His career. The media that surrounds him" Ava answered.
"I'm sure many football players have girlfriends or wives. What makes it different for Sam to not be seen with you?" Jacob questioned her.
"We didn't meet in good ways Jake. He met me while I've been in an abusive relationship. He got beaten up pretty badly because of me. I've caused him nothing but trouble. My life has never been easy going and if he stays with me, my life could get him in trouble a lot" she answered.
Jacob and John stayed quiet, knowing the trouble she has been through with Daniel and their parents. Ava ordered herself a coffee as well, looking out the window.

(Sam Walsh)
An hour later, Sam was woken up by a knock at his door. Opening his eyes, he looked to see if Ava was still sleeping but when he couldn't see her, he slowly got up and put his pants on, going to the door and opening it. He was met with Vossy and Cripps standing at the door.
"Good morning Walshy. Ready to go?" Voss asked.
"Give me a moment to pack and get changed" Walsh said, still half asleep.
Voss nodded the left, telling the boys that he'll meet them at the helicopter. Cripps walked into the room, while Sam got his bags packed.
"You alright mate?" Patrick asked.
"Yeah" Sam replied. "Just a long night".
Crippa chuckled, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed against his chest. "Yeah, I saw the girl come to you last night".
Hearing this, Sam turned and looked at Cripps.
"She spent the night huh?" Crippa asked, his smile big.
"Yeah. She did" Sam replied going back to packing his bags. "Did Vossy see?".
"Nah. You're all good mate" Cripps responded. "Did you guys... you know... do it last night?".
Sam sighed, remembering last night and how special it was for him and Ava. "Yeah.. we did" he replied, zipping his luggage, then grabbing his clothes and looking at Cripps.
"Good on ya. I'll let you get dressed. See you at the helicopter" Crippa said and left his room.
Sam got dressed, grabbing all his bags and wearing a Carlton cap before leaving his room. He went up to the helipad where Cripps and Vossy waited for him. The pilot grabbed Walsh's bags and put them into the helicopter.
"You ready to go?" Vossy asked and was met with a nod from Sam.
Sam boarded the helicopter with everyone else, strapping in safely. As soon as the helicopter started slowly taking off, Sam looked down and saw Ava standing with her brothers on the deck, watching the helicopter take off. He kept his eyes on her, even watching her run off knowing she was crying. He felt so bad but couldn't come against his coach and club captain. This was the very moment that Sam knew his life was going back to normal, after having some time off with his mates.
