It was a week after Ava had arrived to Melbourne and Sam finding our the gender of his baby. The team was sitting in their meeting room, going through their game plan, after losing to Port Adelaide a week before. They were now facing their arch rivals, Collingwood and they were hard at work this whole week. Sam was anxious to get through this game, then looked forward to his unborn baby's gender reveal. He hadn't announced it to his teammates, except for Matt Owies, Jesse Motlop and Elijah Hollands.
Elijah was up, giving his teammates a speech and rev up for the game ahead this weekend. He then looked at Sam and smiled, "I'm going to pass it over to our great man Worpa now. He has something to announce to you boys".
Sam stood up, shaking Elijah's hand as he sat down. Sam looked at his teammates, nervous but also excited. "Ahh, yeah thanks Lij. Well I wanted to share some news with you boys. You're all very special and close to me, and I love making you all part of my family. Well in saying that... I wanted to share some exciting news with you all. Umm.. a while ago, I met a girl on a cruise and we hit things off. Long story short, well... I'm going to be a father".
The boys all cheered, getting up and jumping on their teammate, cheering and whistling. Once they all broke apart, Cripps high fifed Walshy happily.
"Congratulations Worpa. Couldn't be anymore prouder of you. You're like my little brother. What are you having?" Crippa asked.
"Well, Sunday we are going to do a Gender reveal party. All you boys are invited" Sam said to Crippa and all his mates. "You too Vossy".
The boys all cheered again, going back to sit down on their seats so Vossy can continue their team meeting.

Saturday night came by, Carlton were playing against Collingwood. Ava and her friends were all at the game, there to support the boys and their partners. Things with Sam were getting better with Ava, they were getting along and Sam was supporting her with everything but Sam was still with his recent partner and she was all aboard for Sam to have a child with Ava, since their relationship was before them. It was hard for Ava, as she still had big feelings for him but she wasn't going to ruin his relationship.
