(Sam Walsh)
It was game day and the Carlton players were getting ready for their game against GWS. This was going to be Sam's second game back and he was looking forward to keeping up his great return and ranking up more disposals but most importantly, he was hoping for a win today.
The game was a close one and Sam was certainly ranking up those disposals with Crippa. He ended up with 35 disposals and the team won GWS by 19 points. Sam was ecstatic and was happily going down to the rooms to sing the song loudly with his teammates. They all huddled up, belting out the words to the Carlton song before cheering and high fifing each other.
He was pulled aside to do some interviews, putting the headsets on. He was getting massive praises from everyone about how good he had been playing the last two weeks. He had so much confidence going through him and he was just proud of himself and his teammates.

After his interviews, Walshy walked over to his teammates who were sitting on the floor and against the wall. He grabbed a bottle of Powerade and sat down next to Elijah and Oliver Hollands. They spoke about the game and the awesome win. As he took a sip of his drink, his eyes scanned the crowd of Carlton fans who were standing behind the security belts.
He smiled at each child who waved at him, waving back at them as well. He took another sip, when his eyes stopped on a familiar face. All he felt was his heart sinking as he looked into Ava's eyes. He got up, casually walking over to her, which caught Crippa's attention.
"Ava?" He approached her, trying to stay calm and casual in front of a huge crowd of Carlton supporters, coaches, his teammates and the media.
She looked into his eyes, holding back any emotions she had left inside her. "So this was how we were going to see each other again, after you promised last year that you were going to come for me" she said casually, not wanting to cause a scene.
"How did you get down here?" He asked, seeing her guest pass.
"You can thank Elijah for that" she said as she and Walshy looked at Elijah. "I came to let you know that I'm moving away".
Sam looked back at her, devastated with what he had just heard. "Daniel?" He asked.
"No. We broke up officially and thankfully" she smirked with a relief look on her face. "Jacob Seed always gets his way, even if he has to commit some sinful stuff".
Sam chuckled slightly, looking down. "So I'm guessing you are moving away with your siblings?".
Ava nodded, looking around at the crowd. "Yeah. Monday afternoon we are flying out so I thought I'd come and say my final goodbye. Even though you don't really deserve it".
He grabbed Ava's arm and took her out of the rooms and to a more private room. "Ava, I wanted to come but I was put in a really tough position"
"I know. John told me and you know what? I'm not upset with you anymore. I understand Sam. Up until that day, we hardly even knew each other and it was selfish of me to even think that you would come for me" she said. "That's why I wanted to come and say goodbye".
They stayed quiet for a little bit before Sam looked at her again. She looked at him as well, smiling softly and putting her hand on his cheek.
"I'm going to miss you but I will support you and the club from USA as well" she informed him. "I'm proud of you. Two weeks in a row and Sammy Walsh continued from where he left off in 2023. A true Carlton superstar".
Hearing all that, Sam leaned forward and kissed Ava on the lips, making her walk back into the wall behind her. She put her arms around his neck, kissing him passionately and not caring about the fact that he was covered in grass and sweat.
They continued to kiss until Walshy lifted her up slightly, making her wrap her legs around him. At that stage, the two of them shared a steamy and intimate moment. A passionate and loving moment, where it was just the two of them and their bodies together. This being the second time, their love making was more steamy than the first time, which made Ava feel more deep about Sammy Walsh.
After a good fifteen minutes, Ava fixed her clothes up as did Sam and they both left the room together.
"You coming back into the change rooms?" He asked Ava.
"Unfortunately not. I have to get going" she replied.
Sam approached her, kissing her again until she pulled away, saying goodbye and leaving. He watched her from behind, sad that he was going to lose her once again and this time, for good.
