Chenle and Jisung shared a morning class, a tedious lecture on advanced music. The classroom was filled with the sound of the professor's droning voice and the faint scratching of pens on paper. Despite his best efforts to focus, Chenle found his mind wandering. He glanced around the room, his gaze inevitably landing on Jisung, who was diligently taking notes.

Jisung's concentration was impressive, his brows furrowed slightly in focus, and his lips occasionally twitching as he worked through a problem. Chenle couldn't help but smile, finding Jisung's dedication both admirable and adorable. He watched as Jisung's hand moved gracefully across the paper, the slight crinkle in his forehead when he paused to think.

The more Chenle stared, the more he found himself captivated by the small details-Jisung's soft hair falling slightly into his eyes, the way he absentmindedly bit his lower lip in concentration, and the way his eyes lit up when he figured something out. Chenle's heart swelled with affection, a warm smile spreading across his face.

Unbeknownst to Chenle, Renjun, who sat beside him, noticed the dreamy expression on his face and the direction of his gaze. Renjun smirked and leaned over, nudging Chenle with his elbow. ❝Caught you staring,❞ he whispered teasingly.

Chenle jolted, his cheeks flushing a deep red. He quickly averted his gaze and pretended to focus on his notes, but the damage was done. He could feel the heat of embarrassment creeping up his neck. ❝I was not,❞ he mumbled, though the blush on his cheeks told a different story.

Renjun chuckled softly, clearly enjoying Chenle's discomfort. ❝Sure, you weren't. You looked like you were about to melt into a puddle.❞

Chenle shot Renjun a half-hearted glare, but the embarrassment prevented it from being truly effective. ❝Just... shut up, Renjun.❞

Renjun's laughter was a soft, amused sound. ❝Okay, okay, I'll stop. But you're really obvious, you know that?

Chenle groaned softly, burying his face in his hands for a moment before forcing himself to look back at his notes. The notes blurred before his eyes, and he sighed, knowing he wouldn't be able to concentrate now.

Across the aisle, Jisung noticed the brief commotion between Chenle and Renjun. He glanced over, catching Chenle's eye for a moment. Jisung raised an eyebrow in silent question, his lips quirking into a small, curious smile. Chenle's blush deepened, and he gave a tiny shake of his head, as if to say, ❝It's nothing.❞

Jisung's smile widened, and he gave a subtle nod before turning back to his notes. Despite his outward focus, he couldn't help but feel a flutter of warmth at the thought of Chenle watching him. There was something comforting in knowing that Chenle's eyes were on him, a silent connection that made the tedious lecture more bearable.

Renjun leaned over once more, his voice barely above a whisper. ❝You should just tell him, you know. He'd probably be thrilled.❞

Chenle sighed softly, still feeling the heat of his blush. ❝Maybe. But not right now.❞

Renjun nodded, understanding. ❝Fair enough. But don't wait too long, okay?

Chenle managed a small smile. ❝I won't. Thanks, Renjun.❞

The lecture continued, but Chenle's mind was far from the equations and theories being discussed. Instead, he focused on the warmth of Jisung's presence beside him, the comforting thought that he wasn't alone. As the class dragged on, Chenle found himself stealing more glances at Jisung, each one bringing a small, contented smile to his lips.

When the lecture finally ended, the students began packing up their things, eager to escape the monotony of the classroom. Chenle gathered his books and notes, feeling a bit lighter despite the lingering embarrassment. As he stood up, Jisung appeared at his side, a soft smile on his face.

Ready to go?❞ Jisung asked, his eyes twinkling with a mix of curiosity and affection.

Chenle nodded, returning the smile. ❝Yeah, let's go.

As they walked out of the classroom together, Renjun trailed behind them, a knowing smile on his face. He watched as Jisung and Chenle fell into step beside each other, their shoulders brushing occasionally.

Outside, the sun was shining brightly, and the campus was bustling with students. Chenle felt a sense of contentment settle over him as they made their way to the cafeteria for lunch. Jisung's presence was a comforting constant, and with each passing day, Chenle felt his affection deepen.

Renjun caught up to them, falling into step with a grin. ❝So, what's for lunch today?❞

Chenle laughed, grateful for the distraction. ❝Anything but music,❞ he joked, earning a chuckle from Jisung.

As they headed to the cafeteria to see the others, Chenle couldn't help but feel hopeful for the future. With Jisung by his side and the support of his friends, he knew he could face anything that came his way. And maybe, just maybe, he'd find the courage to tell Jisung exactly how he felt.
