27: ᴅᴀᴛᴇ

The next morning, Jisung and Chenle set out on their first official date. The excitement was palpable, with Jisung practically bouncing on his feet and Chenle’s eyes sparkling with anticipation. They decided to start their day at the amusement park, a place filled with laughter, thrills, and memories waiting to be made.

As they arrived, the sounds of excited screams and cheerful music filled the air. Jisung grabbed Chenle's hand, intertwining their fingers. ❝Ready for some fun?❞

The ride was exhilarating. They screamed, laughed, and felt the rush of adrenaline as the coaster twisted and turned. When it finally came to a stop, they stumbled off, breathless and grinning from ear to ear.

They spent the morning going from ride to ride, enjoying every thrilling moment. They played games at the carnival booths, Jisung winning a small stuffed bear for Chenle after an intense game of ring toss. They shared cotton candy, taking turns feeding each other the fluffy treat and laughing when some of it ended up on their noses.

By midday, they were ready for a break. Jisung led Chenle to a cozy ice cream parlor just outside the park. The air was filled with the sweet scent of freshly made waffle cones. They picked their favorite flavors—Chenle opting for a classic strawberry while Jisung chose mint chocolate chip.

They sat at a small table by the window, enjoying their ice cream and each other’s company. ❝This has been the best date ever,❞ Chenle said between bites, his eyes shining with happiness.

Jisung reached across the table, wiping a bit of ice cream off Chenle's cheek. ❝It’s only going to get better,❞ he promised, his eyes filled with affection.

As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the amusement park, Jisung took Chenle to a small shop filled with plushies of all shapes and sizes. Chenle’s eyes lit up as he looked around, admiring the cute and cuddly toys.

Jisung picked up a small hamster plushie, its round cheeks and tiny paws making it irresistibly adorable. He handed it to Chenle, his eyes soft with fondness. ❝So you’ll never forget me,❞ he said with a smile.

Chenle chuckled, hugging the plushie to his chest. ❝With this new plushie, I might just forget you,❞ he teased, his eyes sparkling mischievously.

Jisung smirked, stepping closer until their faces were just inches apart. He leaned in, his breath warm against Chenle’s lips. ❝I’m going to make sure that doesn’t happen,❞ he murmured before capturing Chenle’s lips in a soft, lingering kiss.

Chenle melted into the kiss, his heart pounding with happiness. When they finally pulled apart, he was breathless and smiling. ❝I think you’ve succeeded.❞

Jisung grinned, taking Chenle’s hand and leading him back towards the park entrance. ❝Come on, let’s watch the fireworks before we head home.❞

They found a perfect spot on a grassy hill, laying down a blanket and cuddling close. As the first fireworks exploded in the sky, painting it with brilliant colors, Chenle rested his head on Jisung’s shoulder, feeling utterly content.

❝Thank you for today,❞ Chenle whispered, his voice filled with emotion. ❝It was perfect.❞

Jisung kissed the top of his head, holding him a little tighter. ❝Anything for you, Chenle. I love you.❞

❝I love you too, Jisung,❞ Chenle replied, his heart full. They watched the fireworks in comfortable silence, knowing that this was just the beginning of their beautiful journey together.
