The next day, as usual, I woke up early, the soft light of dawn filtering through the curtains.

I quietly slipped out of bed, careful not to wake Cassi, and headed to the bathroom for a shower.

Under the warm spray of water, my mind wandered back to yesterday’s events in the pool.

Our intimacy had taken a new turn, deepening in ways I hadn’t anticipated.

The memory of her touch, her breathless whispers, and the way our bodies had moved together played on a loop in my mind.

These days, with Cassi by my side, it felt increasingly difficult to control both my mind and body.

Being together, sharing the same bed, made it inevitable that something more would happen between us.

I could feel the intensity of our connection growing with each passing moment.

Emerging from the bathroom, I saw Cassi walking towards me, wearing a sexy nightdress that clung to her curves in all the right places.

Her hair was tousled from sleep, giving her an effortlessly stunning look.

With each passing day, she seemed to become more gorgeous and sexy in my eyes.

Maybe it was because she was my girlfriend now, and I felt I had the right to see her as a woman, fully and completely.

She was undeniably hot, and I couldn’t help but admire her beauty.

"Good morning, beautiful," I greeted her, a smile spreading across my face. "You look hot when you wake up in the morning."

She blushed, a shy smile playing on her lips. "Good morning, Kalix."

"I'm glad I'm the only one who gets to see you like this," I added, my voice filled with appreciation. "It's a privilege."

Cassi stepped closer, wrapping her arms around my neck.

"I'm glad it's you, too," she whispered, leaning in for a kiss.

"And it's even better that I'm the only one who gets to see you like this every morning," I continued, a playful glint in my eye. "Because I know you're not wearing a bra when you sleep."

She laughed softly, her cheeks flushing with colour. "You’re incorrigible."

"Only for you," I murmured, pulling her closer and savouring the intimate moment we shared.

She smiled, leaning into me.

"And it's also better that I'm the only one who gets to see you walking around confidently in just your underwear, like this moment, you're only wearing your briefs" she teased, her eyes twinkling with amusement.

I chuckled, shaking my head.

"My girlfriend is quite possessive," I said, tracing my fingers along her back. "Doesn't want others to see her boyfriend in just his underwear, huh?"

"Definitely not," she replied with a playful smirk, touching what was underneath my briefs.

I glanced down and added, "Be careful about what you're touching, baby."

She laughed, her cheeks flushing with colour. "Some things are meant to be exclusive."

"Guess we're both a little possessive, then," I said, kissing her softly. "But I wouldn't have it any other way."

We stayed like that for a moment, wrapped in each other's arms, sharing a quiet, intimate connection that only deepened our bond.

Cassi and I prepared for the bridge-building competition, the anticipation buzzing between us.

The venue was conveniently located on the ground floor of our hotel, making it easy to transport our carefully constructed bridge.

As we made our way down, we saw teams from ten different schools, each holding their bridges with a mix of pride and anxiety.

Mr. Smith, our professor, stood near the entrance.

He caught our eyes and gave us a reassuring smile.

Despite his calm demeanour, I could tell he was just as nervous as we were.

"Ready?" I asked Cassi as we set our bridge on the designated table.

"As ready as I'll ever be," she replied, her voice tinged with excitement and nerves.

The competition began, and the room was filled with the quiet hum of tension.

Each team's bridge was scrutinized for structural integrity and adherence to the requirements.

One by one, some teams were disqualified, their bridges failing to meet the necessary criteria.

When it was our turn, Cassi and I held our breaths.

The judges examined our bridge meticulously, checking every joint and angle.

After what felt like an eternity, they gave a nod of approval.

"We're still in," I whispered to Cassi, feeling a wave of relief.

The next phase was the weight test.

We watched as other bridges were subjected to increasing amounts of weight, many of them collapsing under the pressure.

Our turn came, and we carefully positioned our bridge for the test.

As the weights were added, I could feel my heart pounding in my chest.

The bridge creaked slightly but held firm.

More weights were added, and still, it remained intact.

Cassi gripped my hand, and I could see the mix of fear and hope in her eyes.

Finally, the judges announced that our bridge had passed the weight test.

Not only had it held, but it had withstood more weight than any other bridge in the competition.

We were in shock, unable to believe our success.

"And the first place goes to Kalix Callahan and Cassi Dawson from Central College!" the announcer declared.

Cheers erupted around us, and we were swarmed by well-wishers and fellow competitors.

Engineers who had been observing the competition came forward to congratulate us, their praise adding to the surreal feeling of the moment.

Mr. Smith approached, a proud smile on his face. "You two did an outstanding job. I knew you had it in you."

"Thank you, Mr. Smith," Cassi said, her voice trembling with emotion.

As we posed for photos and accepted our trophy, I looked at Cassi and felt a swell of pride and gratitude.

This victory was as much hers as it was mine, a testament to our teamwork and dedication.

"We did it," I said, squeezing her hand.

"We really did," she replied, her eyes shining with joy.

The rest of the day was a blur of celebrations and congratulations.
