Chapter 1: Summer Vacation

Ring Ring

"Hey Nat! How you doing?"
"I'm good, Vex, how about you?"
"Better than ever! So did you call me to discuss something or?-"
"Oh yea, I wanted to ask you what you were planning to do during the summer vacation"
"Nothing much, you?"
"Well I've nothing to do either, do you want to meet up tomorrow? I'll talk with Scar and the others later"
"I'm pretty much bored so why not!"
"Splendid! See you tomorrow!"

Nathalie hung up. She looked up at the ceiling, remembering their previous adventures. Oh how exciting! It hasn't been long since the summer break, only 2-3 days but somehow for Nathalie, it feels like a week! She longed for more adventures! Sometimes she even wishes she, along with her friends could be detectives for a day! Such a wild imagination!

Nathalie chuckled. Just then, her phone started ringing. She picked it up.

"Hey bestie! Any ideas on what to do during the summer break?"
"Hey Scar! I was just planning to call you haha! For now I don't have any, could you meet up with me and Vex tomorrow? I'll inform the others too"
"Yeah sure! Hoping to see you tomorrow! Bye bestie!"
"Bye!"

This time Scarlette was the one to hang up first. Nathalie looked out the window. Damn! Time does go really fast! Just some while ago it was afternoon, now the sun is setting. Nathalie didn't mind. The setting sun was so glorious!

After that, she called up Rachel, Tiana and Felix. Three of them agreed and so the plan was settled.

Nathalie went to bed excitedly, it felt like she would meet her friends after a month!
But there was a problem. There had been news about some theifs around this neighbourhood and it was rumoured that the theifs sometimes even killed their victims! So Nathalie and her friends would have to be careful. But that didn't stop them from meeting up...did it?
