It was 5 in the morning. Nathalie opened her eyes. She wasn't really an early bird. More like a night owl. Nathalie was an intense sleeper. Some even say, if people let her, she could sleep for days!
'that's pure nonsense!'
Nathalie argued in response.
She got out of bed, brushed her teeth and hair and got out of her room. She saw her parents having tea.
"Nat! Why are you up so early?" Her dad asked
"I don't know, I just don't feel like sleeping right now"
"Well breakfast isn't made but there is tea, would you like some?" Her mom said while handling her a cup of tea
Nathalie took it and sat by a sest nearby.
"So? How's your study going? Any plans for summer vacation?"
"Me and my friends are planning to go on the camping trip, wait what day is today?"
"Friday"
"Shoot! Today is the day we're supposed to go camping!"
"By the camp nearby?"
"Yeah"
"Do you have all the supplies?"
"Mom bought me a tent last week, I have a torch, a first aid kit, a knife, just incase and mom will pack us some sandwiches. Oh and I'm also taking sime packs of marshmallows with me"
"Are you sure one tent is enough? I can't let you sleep with boys!"
"Pft! Who said I'll ever do that? It's for after marriage"
"That's my girl!"
"Oh yeah, Vexter's bringing another tent with him, he'll share that one with Felix and me and the girls will share mine"
"Looks like you got everything planned"
Her dad chuckled
"Honey, it's 7 AM, aren't you gonna get ready? Didn't you say your friends will be there at 8? Her mom asked while looking at the clock
"Oh yeah! Alright, I'll get ready, I'll head out at 8, tell Sam to have fun"
"Sure dear"
Nathalie hurriedly got dressed, bid goodbye to her parents and went outside.
